3 Feminine Movement Mistakes to Avoid
CommentsWhat’s the secret to being a super hot woman?
It’s not your hair, face, or even body shape. It’s all about your MOVEMENTS …
Maybe you’ve seen it yourself – the plain Jane woman whose sexy walk turns heads vs. the beautiful girl whose dude-like swagger is a major turnoff.
How feminine are YOUR movements? Do you still walk like a guy or have you gone overboard into drag queen territory?
Here are 3 feminine movement mistakes you need to avoid:
1. Over exaggerating your hip movements
Everybody knows that women sway their hips when they walk, but the biggest tipoff of an amateur is overexaggerated hip movements.
Don’t swing your hips around – instead, put on a pair of high heels. Heels cause your hips to sway without you having to force the movement. The key is to relax your body and go with the flow.
2. Being too stiff
Genetic males naturally have tenser bodies than women do. If your body is tense, your movements are going to look stiff and masculine.
The secret to fluid, feminine movements is to relax your body. Be careful not to tense your shoulders or lower back when you are “en femme.” It’s also super helpful to stretch and get massages to release built up tension.
3. Sticking your chest out
Arching your back and sticking your chest out might look sexy, but real women don’t walk around like that.
Instead, keep your back straight and pull your shoulders down and back. This makes you look confident and feminine, without looking ridiculous.
Now that you know what not to do, here’s a video demonstrating the RIGHT way to walk. Notice the straight posture, gently swinging hips, and relaxed movements:
How are YOUR feminine movements? Do you struggle with this or are you one of the lucky girls who are naturally graceful? Leave me your comments below!
Love,
Lucille

I’ve been practicing my fem walk, everyday walking about 1 1/2miles and have noticed I love how my hips are moving without even thinking about it.
I have trouble with Femme Walking. As a younger person when I was small I was more feminine and being a (an explicit word for gay) and wearing “women’s drawers” as my father so meanly put it, and being girly like I when I was younger (God I wish I could just get rid of all the masculineity garbage and let my feminine shine again.) wasn’t accepted in the area of the South I grew up in.
Hi Lucille
I have found that women invariably have a shorter stride than men but a much quicker step and that they walk with greater purpose than men even when in high heels.
One tip to try is, if you have a voice recorder or a voice memo function on your mobile, record the sounds of a woman walking past in high heels and then listen back to the recording when you are in your own high heels and try and mimic the pace and stride of her walk. You may be surprised at how different it is from your male stride or from the female stride that you have currently been using. Failing that just watch the short video and count 1-2, 1-2 or left-right, left-right everytime one of the girls takes a step.

i beg to differ. heels are not allways the way to do it. i have had back problems all my life so when i decited to go fem. i thougt there has to be another way to get that wiggle so i decited to try platform shoes and by putting one foot in front of the other i developed my girly walk. and every body i meet dressed up in fem tell me i have a great walk. now tats the way i did it.
Hi Lucille,
I have been walking in high heels since I was 12. Started with my moms, then started buying my own. The first thing I noticed was how my hips swayed like a girls. I also love the way they shape my legs and ass. When enfem, I wear 4-6 inch heels. A sexy pair of high heels that coordinate with my outfit really gets me believing I’m a girl. Thanks for your help in growing my own breasts.

I think growing up with three sisters and a mother and years of martial arts, tai chi, and yoga help me to be feminine in my walking and movements. And of course, heels help. Thanks Lucille.
I have always had trouble not acting feminine as a male. I had to learn to cover and mask. I no longer care therefore I get some odd looks in my male persona.
I don’t have issues of holding myself as a woman…I have always adored women and watch them. I as very close to my mother and sisters growing, being a girl is so natural for me. The only thing I would like to change is mt foot size, I wear a size 14 in men’s shoe and so have to order a 15 or a 16 in women’s shoes. The problem is there is not a large selection to choose from. I have 5 pairs and soon to get another one. And soon after that I most likley will order the same colors, some with straps some without… Oh I just die when I see a woman in shoes that I would just love to wear but can’t find them in my size. Thank you so much, as always your tips do help, but his is a very well appreciated one. I he past my waliking has acutualy tired me out i tried so hard that it was a job. now with the little less stiffness and more relaxed walk i think i am working towards a more fem sway and can go longer with out wanting to sit. I know that i am carring my frame with a realer look lve ya Penny
Lucille,
I’ve been wearing heels in the evenings for over 20 years and still learn something new everyday about being a woman. Thank you for everything you do for us.

I don’t know about the walk yet, but I just got back from snowboarding at Lake Louise in the Rockies. Women tend to learn snowboarding faster because they shift position with their hips and ass, whereas men tend to use their upper bodies and shoulders, looking very awkward.
I found that with my new shape – less belly, more bum and breast, I just moved better, with my centre of gravity lower. I definitely noticed by feeling femme on the slopes, wearing a cute contouring sports bra, my snowboarding improved significantly.
Wow! That’s great, Nancy!! I’m sure you looked super cute on the slopes.
Thank you so much Lucille for providing this lovely forum and wonderful topics. I find so much pleasure in practicing feminine movements, walking, dancing, sitting, dining, reading, even bending over, they soon become my natural movements. Practice, practice, practice. Fun,fun, fun! So learning to relax was very important to me. Meditation and yoga can help you find that calm place within yourself. I found that by starting slowly, trying to prefect each motion, before I would think about the timing or speed.Relax and Enjoy the Journey! Once you have Mastered the Movements you may hurry if you have to! I was surprised no one mentioned a little bounce when walking in heels? XOXOX Honey
thanks…asselle
Hi Lucille! I would like thank you for all you do for us tgirls. your tips help me lot. love the vidoe on how to walk natural like women. Love Rebecca Lee.
What perfectly turned ankles you both have
At 5ft 12inches heels are not a great option to help me blend in! LOL After years of different techniques I finally found one that works for me. Slow down, shorten the stride, and push your thighs together as your walk. I find this feels very natural and gives me that gentle sway so beautifully demonstrated in the clip. Feel Good ! Kay
Thanks Lucille, again! Thats something I really need to practice when Jen is busy around the house. You are truely a blessing to us gurls!!!!!!
But wait! There’s more!
All good comments and tips, but there is one more thing. Walking in heels forces you to walk in a more feminine way, forcing the toes to come down first as it tip-toeing. It also contributes to the fluid hip swing. It kind of makes me swing my arms more, too. But I have to consciously remember the womanly palm position. Yes, it is all in the movements. And you have got to practice it enough to make it automatic. I even walk that way when I am in male mode. Do I mind
if someone comments that I have a very “girlish” walk? HECK NO! I thank them and leave them with their jaw dropped when I say, “Well, some of us have it, and some don’t.
You just have to do it ALL the time. Then it becomes automatic.
