4 Tricks for Sexy, Plump Lips

Comments (42)

Looking for a superfast way to feminize your face? Plump your lips!

Full lips are a symbol of youth and femininity – and they’re just plain sexy. Most TG girls could benefit from lip plumping, so I’m going to share 4 tricks for getting those Angelina Jolie lips …

lipfusion1. Try a cosmetic lip plumper

There are loads of cosmetic lip plumpers on the market and some of them actually work. The results are subtle, but hey – every bit counts.

Look for a lip plumper that contains hyaluronic acid, like Lip Fusion or City Lips. Hyaluronic acid is the same ingredient that is used in lip injections. The HA in these plumpers draws moisture to the lips and has a plumping effect.

Avoid lip plumpers that contain cinnamon and other ingredients that irritate the lip tissue. The swelling makes your lips look fuller, but it dries them out in the long run.

2. Use a lip plumping device

You’ve heard of vacuum pumps for “other” parts of the body, so why not the lips?

Luscious Lips is a specially-designed vacuum pump that draws fluid to the lips, creating a plumping effect. Luscious Lips plumps lips up to 50% and the results can last for several hours.

I have this device myself and can tell you that it works. (Just don’t get any other ideas for that pump!)

ha3. Take hyaluronic acid supplements

Here’s a cool trick …

The same hyaluronic acid that is used in lip plumpers and lip injections also comes as a supplement.Taken internally, hyaluronic acid acts as an internal moisturizer.

There have been many reports of HA supplements having a plumping effect on the lips. Combining HA supplements with HA lips plumpers enhances the results.

You can find HA supplements at the drug store or health food store. Take a capsule before bed and you just might wake up with bigger lips!

4. Get lip injections

Finally, if you’ve got the money and pain tolerance, lip injections is a guaranteed way to enlarge your lips.

Lip injections do NOT have to give you the trout pout look. They should be a subtle enhancement of your natural lips. The advantage of lip injections is that they can reshape the lips and cupid’s bow – giving you not only fuller lips, but prettier lips, too.

I’ve had my lips injected in the past and liked the look. The downside is that they doesn’t last long for the money.

Ok, now let’s hear from you! Have you tried plumping your lips? What worked and what didn’t?

And be sure to take my Sexy Lips Poll below!

Love,
Lucille

Dear Lucille: Happily, Mother Nature wes kind to me and back in the day I was taken to be a woman twice when I wasn’t even trying. I did try cosmetic lip pumpers a few times, and they worked OK but I didn’t really need them. Surely, many of our girlfriends could help things along by a more subtle application of lip color, relaxing the face muscles, and oh yes,- a pretty, feminine smile. Thank you again for the wonderful help you keep sending us. Love, Melanie.

    hi Lucile x,
i loved the feature i regularily use lip plumping glosses to boost my natural size as my lips seem quite thin to me the lip plumper is a wonderful idea i shall have to get one as i will have to start getting the HA tablets i have been considering minor surgery to enhance my lip size just a little but permenantly. I am visiting my boyfriens at the moment so can’t send a picture but i will send another mail when i get home and add a picture , you’ll see i have thin lips but they do have a beautiful cupids bow. I find megan and angelina both stunningly beautiful in all ways as are the other ladies but in those pictures there is something about monica bellucci’s sexy lips that stand out they are plump but have such a beautiful and well defined shape. I would love to have lips like those smiles shyly. Last November i completed my transition and i feel more and more naturally feminine every day any girls/ladies on the road don’t give in you can get there and lead a happy fulfilling life.
    Lots of love abigail xx
P.S. Thanks for all the help Lucille your like all our best friends x

    • Lucille Sorella says:

Hi Abigail! What kind of surgery are you thinking of? A lip lift can do wonders, but I haven’t heard great things about implants. If you want something permanent, I know of gals who’ve had great results with silicon lip injections. But you absolutely need to go to an expert injector! Good luck, honey.

  8. Jacqui says:

    Hi,

And thanks for all the tips. I have just bought a Lucious Lips device, and it really does work, though only lasts a few hours. But its compact enough to take out with you and give an extra plumping!! I will give the HA supplements a try though. As you say, every little helps!!!

    Love and Kisses

  9. Kitty KariAll says:

Like Ursula, I use 4 different colors of powder brushed into my lips to make them look fuller. If you look carefully at my picture you will see a thin silver line where I want the fullest part of my lip to appear to be. I mash a blush power over all of it.
I can’t stand the taste of plumpers, so I cheet with powder.

  10. Renee says:

Hi Lucille I have tryed cinnamon oil and it works for a couple of hours but your right it dose dry out your lips thanks for the tips.

  11. Lucille,

Thanks for the information. My lips could use some plumping.

    Cynthia

  12. Jacalyn says:

I’ve done HA lip injections, and if done by the right hands it can make a stunning difference. Will check out the HA supplements to see if it will maintain the size longer.
    Thanks, Jacalyn

    • Lucille Sorella says:

I agree! Done with a light touch, lip injections can look great. I do believe HA supplements could extend the life an of HA filler like Juvederm or Restylane.

  13. Chrystal says:

I’d vote if I had the slightest idea of who any of the ladies are so by position the bottom row center gets my vote hands down

  14. Ursula says:

I myself like to use different colors to make my lips look plump. A light irridescent color just on the inner center of both lips and they pop.

  15. lucille: how do you enlarge a male breast?

  16. Faye says:

I have tried several lip plumper and they do work for a little while; therefore have to reapply it ever so often. Tomorrow I will be done up professionly for the annual locale Cancer Relay for Life event and will send a picture of me during the event. Mind you I am a only an Occasional Cross Dresser, ie, special events or away from home.

  17. Hi everyone…I wanted to leave some advice on hair…I use my own hair now for everyday looks,
if you are not able to grow your hair out, and you are out on the town, try a full wig with soft curls, with bangs, I think the curls soften the face and help as far as we generally don’t have the same hair line as women…you can allways pull up the sides and tie back leaving the bangs down for a more casual look.

  18. Michelle says:

Also, I would like to ask for as many of you as are willing & able to help me out. You see, I’ve known for a long time that I am a woman trapped in a man’s body but I am not trying to get a full sex change…

Instead, I would like to get a nice set of breast implants as well as a few other alterations to my body and you can read more about them by clicking on my name…

That site also points out how you can help me as well as what I plan to do for the one person who helps me out the most…!

  19. Rita says:

    Hi,Lucille
Thanks for the new advices. I try at first hyaluronic acid. It’s difficult to choose whose lips of these beautiful ladies are the sexiest. I imagine whose lips I would like to kiss more than others. And the Oscar goes to Scarlet Johansson!

  20. Alison Hughes says:

What can I do to improve my look?

    • Renee says:

Hi alison I think a darker coloured wig maybe not shorter and more natural toned make up I hope this helps good luck.

    • Ursula says:

I myself think you need a shorter hair style with wispier bangs, with a softer shade of lipstick. You have a beautiful face! Show it off! Luv that smile.

    • Hi Alison….
My name is Cassandra…I am going to be 43 in a month and I wanted to say that as we get older I stay away from bright lipsticks, I know that some of us want to stand out and some want to blend in….I would deffinately say the suit is great and I would try to stay with your natural hair color, something a little wavy and darker, and lipstick, I would use on you “wine” or “burgundy” you would see a very positive change.

    • Darla Donna says:

      Alison,

First off, you look very feminine and pretty darn good to start with.

While I’m certainly no expert, but i think the natural lines of your face could be softened by a hair style that has more curl and body to the sides of your head and reveals a bit more of the ears. Classy but eye catching ear-rings if a complementary color could assist in this as well.

The shape of your upper lip could be improved by the use of plumpers and/or additional lipstick/liner to form a higher peak in the center, especially if the shape of lipstick was a bit less bold.

Eye makeup and eye liner will also help stretch your face vertically making it more feminine and appear taller.

I find in photos i have to constantly remind myself to keep my chin up and a bit out (to prevent double chinning) and smile while pursing my lips a bit (vs. wide smiling) or it increases the smile lines in my face making me look older. Perhaps similar posture and expression / modeling techniques could assist you.

Also nothing helps feminize a photo like cleavage, one fewer button, some taping/form positioning and a more halter style bra will add some nice curves to anybody.

Finally haven taken quite a lot of photos i find that photos from below and that are somewhat backlit (like this photo) make me look older, heavier and more masculine. Use a good camera with flash and a timer that is slightly above eye level looking down with you face slightly to one side 3/4 to 7/8 forward but with eyes to the lens. The front lighting will soften and feminize the lines of your face and you’ll be even more beautiful than you are now.

By the way you really do look just great here.

      Hugs,
      -Darla
