Feminize Your Face: 4 Eyelash Breakthroughs You Need to Know About
By
Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most. EYELASHES are a small detail that can have a huge impact on your looks!
Long eyelashes call attention to your eyes, which downplays facial flaws and makes you look much more feminine.
But forget about regular mascara or false eyelashes. Here are 4 eyelash breakthroughs every TG girl should know about …
1. Latisse
Latisse is an FDA-approved treatment for growing eyelashes. It increases the growth phase of your eyelashes, causing them to grow thicker, longer, and darker. Most people see dramatic results within 12 weeks.

Latisse is safe, but it can cause your eyes to change color. (Yikes!) The other downside is that Latisse requires a prescription and costs around $120 per tube.
2. Over-the-counter eyelash growers
You can also grow your eyelashes using an over-the-counter treatment. These products contain different ingredients that promote eyelash growth.
Here are the 3 most popular eyelash treatments. Check out the links below to see the Amazon.com reviews for each product:
The best part about growing your own lashes is that it’s a subtle way to stay connected to your femme side, even in male mode.
3. Eyelash extensions
Eyelash extensions are another option for fuller lashes. Eyelash extensions are applied one-by-one to your eyes and last up to 8 weeks. They cost $100-$300 for a full set of lashes.

4. Fiberwig mascara
If you just want a cheap and easy way to get big lashes, try Imju Fiberwig. Fiberwig is a Japanese mascara that contains special fibers that bind together and build out the lashes. It’s the best way to get a false eyelash look using only mascara.
Bottom line: Don’t forget about your eyelashes! This tiny detail really can transform your face.
Now I’d like to hear from YOU. Have you tried one of these eyelash “breakthroughs?” Do you have any eyelash recommendation for us? Leave me your comments below!
Love,
Lucille

I am leery of using pharmaceutical products for cosmetic purposes (ie Latisse). Because of the way it works, I am worried about the untested interactions it may have with other substances in human diet, which might not have been present in the lab animals it was tested on, such as growth hormones and other food additives.
Just about every other product that matches this profile has been withdrawn in an awful hurry with dozens of litigants jeering in the wings.
Thanks for the ideas. . . Additionally I have had great success with a “Talika” product called “Lash Extender” which is a bottle of fine “hairs” which are brushed on over wet mascara to lengthen your eyelashes and make them fuller. . . you can use several coats of mascara and reapply the “Lash Extender” with the brush in the bottle to develop lovely lashes that will stay as long as your mascara. . .

I agree.
I use mascara sparingly… bet when I started using mascara regularly it increased my “courage” in two ways… That I was doing it… and that hardly anyone said anything!!!
It’s great!

HI.I have try extenision and i have that for one day and they fall of,i have an alergic reaction so is not good for me.Marie
I am glad you have gotten back to me, Lucille. I am leery of using a product like Latisse because I don’t trust the FDA but I don’t have to in regards to lash products. I have been using REVITALASH for over 2 years now with some success in lenghtening my lashes but then I found someone who did lash extensions in my area ( Santa Barbara ) so I have been having them done by this esthetician in question, however, she still prefers that I use an eyelash product so I have been continuing to use the REVITALASH nightly, however it seems to cause some slight irritation to my eyelids so I have switched to LILASH. I only just switched. I still am not thoroughly satisfied with the look of my lashes so I continue to use mascara over the extensions. This causes some problems. This tends to cause me to lose them faster. Now I use 2 mascaras, one colorless and one in black. I am more satisfied with the look. I still would prefer to have longer lashes still. Angélique
Your irritation is more likely to be due to the extensions you are getting. Try leaving them off first!

I have also tried some fiber-adding product to my lashes but this was before I went into lash extensions and I would not recommend it.

I enjoyed reading your advise and the responses by the other girls. My lashes seem to fit me well enough although I do have them curled and darkened by my esthetitican about every two months. My brows are starting to show signs of gray so I’m now considering having them darkened as well. Thanks for all your help. It’s truly appreciated by this girl.
Hi: Lucille
I discivered this product years ago. i was in a dept. store one day, and at the cosmetics counter (of course) The girl working the counter had wonderful lash’s. I asked her how she got them so long and full. She handed me a bottle of cilis booster. It’s made by Lancome. This stuff is wondeful. You just brush it on like till you get the lenth you want. Then follow up with your favorite masscara. You won,t beleave how long and full your lash’e will get. I love it, and have used it for years now. Looks like fake lashes, but they are mine.
Good luck everyone: Donna
