3 Feminine Movement Mistakes to Avoid
ByWhat’s the secret to being a super hot woman?
It’s not your hair, face, or even body shape. It’s all about your MOVEMENTS …
Maybe you’ve seen it yourself – the plain Jane woman whose sexy walk turns heads vs. the beautiful girl whose dude-like swagger is a major turnoff.
How feminine are YOUR movements? Do you still walk like a guy or have you gone overboard into drag queen territory?
Here are 3 feminine movement mistakes you need to avoid:
1. Over exaggerating your hip movements
Everybody knows that women sway their hips when they walk, but the biggest tipoff of an amateur is overexaggerated hip movements.
Don’t swing your hips around – instead, put on a pair of high heels. Heels cause your hips to sway without you having to force the movement. The key is to relax your body and go with the flow.
2. Being too stiff
Genetic males naturally have tenser bodies than women do. If your body is tense, your movements are going to look stiff and masculine.
The secret to fluid, feminine movements is to relax your body. Be careful not to tense your shoulders or lower back when you are “en femme.” It’s also super helpful to stretch and get massages to release built up tension.
3. Sticking your chest out
Arching your back and sticking your chest out might look sexy, but real women don’t walk around like that.
Instead, keep your back straight and pull your shoulders down and back. This makes you look confident and feminine, without looking ridiculous.
Now that you know what not to do, here’s a video demonstrating the RIGHT way to walk. Notice the straight posture, gently swinging hips, and relaxed movements:
How are YOUR feminine movements? Do you struggle with this or are you one of the lucky girls who are naturally graceful? Leave me your comments below!

Lucille

I would like to walk like the girl on the right as she seems so natural. I wish the camera was at least hip high as the ankles predominate rather than the whole gait. Both girls look/move wonderfully though. My next step is getting into heels!!
Thanx Lucille.
Dear Lucille, Thank you for all your wonderful, excellent advice, and for sharing the fine comments of so many lovely sisters. Years ago, before going out on my own, I went out a few times with friends from the TV club I belonged to at that time,-thinking there would be strength in numbers. I quickly realzed that we looked like a parade of zombies and began to fall behind a little with one or two companions who knew how to look and walk like normal ladies. In addition to being completely relaxed and walking with a flowing rythm that is neither stiff or exaggerated, there needs to be an inner calm and peace and confidence that find expression an a pleasant or at least peaceful face. Love , Melanie
Hi Lucille, your advice is as always very usefull. As a tgirl with Indonesian roots it is for me not very difficult to move like a woman.Very often I walk on stiletto sandals,in wintertime only at home.So it comes very natural to have an elegant walk.Keep up the good work Lucille, you are a lovely lady!Kisses,Francesca
But,but ,no fair!!! Those two sexy GGs in the video weren’t carrying their hand bags!!!!Like models on a runway!! Bring on the baggage..more realistic!
You’re right, Rogina! Women usually carry handbags. But in my opinion, it’s much harder to walk without carrying anything. (And you might find yourself in a situation like this – for example, running out from the dressing room to find something … leaving your seat to go to the salad bar in a restaurant, etc.) If you can walk gracefully without a handbag, you can definitely walk gracefully WITH a handbag.
Great observation, lovely!!
Dear Lucille
It’s good the example of video.
I love

Thank you so Lucille. After reading all you tips in this blog and your womanly walk I dont seem to have much of a problem with or without heels. After all your tips I look so much more like I should.
Hugs

You’re right. High heels either force you to learn to walk correctly, or they will help one breaks one’s neck (smile). I spend time each day walking in my heels, even just around the house. And I follow your advice about breast enlargement herbal remedies. But is there a herbal remedy for sale for breast enlargement that you can recommend? Thanks in advance.

As always, great advice. Every Saturday togeather with my Partner, we go shopping in London’s West-End, and have lunch in our favorite pub, sitting outside, we booth watch the ladies, their clothes style, their walking and mannerisms. I find this very helpful. I walk with mostly a two and a half inch heel at the most, and I find I am a lot more confident and comfortable than wearing anything higher.
Nowadays I dress fem and when out shopping (which I love)I wear a two inch wedge shoe, so I don’t have to worry about London’s pavements! Once again a wonderful video and advice, thank you so much.

Thanks, Lesley Ann! Sounds like a wonderful Saturday tradition.
i have found im way more comfortable in a dress and heels than jeans and boots in boy mode.i grew up not realizing i realie was a lady.but now that im a lady, i love just being me,i am getting ready to go full time this year and hope to never look back.my movements are very fem and i love the advice here:)
Hi, sisters:
Spending lots of time walking in heels, and dancing in heels, really helped me gain confidence and garner appreciative comments from passers-by and observers (male and female, TG and straight) on sidwalks, cruising the mall, and/or relaxing in clubs. If you learn to put one foot right in front of the other as you walk in your heels, rather than separated by 6-12″, you get a natural sway without having to consciously do anything with your hips.
After years and years of “just doing it” and getting comfortable in heels as high as 5-6″ platforms, I have no doubt that any one questions my walk as anything other than that of a real babe!!!
And speaking of comfortable, THE key to walking naturally is shoes (even those 5″ heels) that first of all fit you well and are comfortable.
Cheers to all,
phyl
So true – it’s very hard to walk naturally in shoes that don’t fit or aren’t comfortable.
