When you get to my age (77) then classic is the only thing to stop me laughing at myself in the mirror. “Mutton dressed as lamb” comes to mind.
In fact I love them all depending on mood and moment!
Love all the lace bows and frills. Makes me feel so girlie. Soft and feminine.

I like many things and sometimes make changes. I always sleep in baby doll nighties (romantic or classic). I have always been a garters and hose girl so much of time, under my dresses I wear a garter belt or corset/cincher with garter straps, bra and panties

I may have posted something on this one before, but here’s now: In colder weather I really love a long flannel nightgown, doesn’t matter much what it looks like, sorry to be so square. When the weather is warmer, the skimpier classic style feels good.
Sofia’s tastes (above) match mine almost to a tee. A simple long cotton nightie with a really cute (Teddy bear) print.
Since starting HRT last year I find that wearing a soft sports bra to bed gives support and comfort to my tender new boobies. Lol.
A plain, cream coloured, cotton panties finishes up my nocturnal ensemble.
