Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!

I always fly en femme, love it and never had a problem, unless my wife makes a special request for me not to. It has only happened once on a return flight home and she was baby sitting. I have been flying in and out of the MSP airport about 4 times a month for about a year now. Back around Thanksgiving time I was waiting in line when one of the TSA agents yelled out to us waiting in line that she was opening another lane and to come to her lane. I did and we did a little chit chat as I passed through. The next time I passed through she remembered me. Whenever I go through security when going home I always look for her or ask if she is on duty. She is applying for another job with the TSA and I’ll miss her when I go through.
After passing through security, I always stop off at one of the vendors who makes lifts for shoes. We talk. I give him suggestions on how to improve his product. Interesting to watch him watch people walking through the concourse. He sees a whole lot more in a persons gait than the average person does.
I have a 90 minute 10 passenger shuttle bus ride up/down to the MSP airport. There is usually at least one or two interesting conversations either on the shuttle ride up or on the flight.
I find this an interesting questions these days for me. Yes I do travel, at times, en femme but find, these days, that to a lot of people I am always en femme regardless of how I dress. I work a lot with the public and many, though dressed as a man, address me as a woman. I was shocked at first but discovered that the physical changes I am going through are more pronounced now and very difficult to hide. Consequently, sometimes to the exasperation of my co-workers, I am addressed as a woman. In my defense they tell the person I am a man; I just smile and continue with our conversation. When I am not at work I wear overalls and shirts and though I am not satisfied with my public image yet I answer to any observer in any manner they see me as. Because of this I am en femme most of the time and no make up. I will be happiest, hopefully in time, when I walk out the door people see me, not en femme, but as a woman.
I would really love to travel even a short distance en femme but I don’t have enough confidence in my ability to make it look extremely convincing. Maybe one of these days….
I live as a woman 24-7. I don’t think I even have any guy clothes anymore. I go everywhere, anywhere. Ive lived as female since late ’10.(3.5 years). Love life a lot more now!

I have a short trip in femme every day because I don’t wear male clothes and shoes more than 2 years. 10% of male clothes that I have are several jeans for tourism that reqires to be in extremal situations and several T-Shorts for playing soccer. Nothing more.
As I transition I try going everywhere in femme; so much so that to the point, where people call me mam.
As I transition I try going everywhere in femme so much to point that people call me man.
I dream of traveling dressed all the time l think about going on a cruise sitting by the pool in a bikini wearing heels tanning with a drink. Dancing the night away meeting a man hitting up the spa being pampered. Someday I hope

Robyn, ‘sweetie’ you have just nailed my favorite fantasy trip. On a cruise, warm weather, full spa treatment wax job, facial, spray tan; the works. Especially, getting all dressed up for the formal dinners and such.
