Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.

I’m excited to hear the story!

One day while talking with my Mother may she rest in peace. She told me that since she had two girls she was hopping i was a boy but if I had been born a girl my name would have been Summer. I liked it so that is who i am. No one in my Family knows about Summer but except my wife maybe some day.
Summer
Hi Lucille,
It may sound crazy. But, I feel my name chose me. Ever since i was little I always knew that my name was Sue. I use McConnell as my last name. It was my grandmas name. She was a strong and bold woman for her times. She was a happy and loved to laugh. She even played piano at the town saloon. So my name became Sue McConnell
I picked Gina because it was close to my real name. I also had a gf that liked the name also. I like the name so much that i have used it since.
I picked Bobbie after my favorite Aunt Roberta . Bobbie just seemed to be the name that fit the best
Hi Lucille, I have been dressing in one way or another since I was a little boy,, I was having a drink one day and the bar tender was just so beautiful ( inside and out ) I took her name with me,,, wow,, if she only new,,,
Hi. I’ve been Nikki for ages now. It sort of seemed natural in a convoluted sort of way. I was born on New Years Day but i was due on Christmas Day! If i was born when expected my parents planned to call me Nicholas. As it was i was a week late and was given a very dull and boring name instead.
Given the view that trans folk are sort of born into the wrong body, when i was young i also figured that, maybe, if i’d been born at Christmas, I would have been born a girl.
So i became Nicolette Christmas. It’s been me for a long time now. XXX
Well I am one of the lucky few that didn’t have to change her name…I was born with Kellie…My mom knew she was having a girl…Just took a little longer than she expected for me to realize it and now am most comfortable and happy with who I am….
