It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I used to work with a woman with the same name.. So feminine..
I love this name..
My girlfriend gave me my name
One of the reasons I chose my first name, “Karri” is because of the second meaning of “Karris” which means: elegant, as found in urbandictionary.com.
My last name, “Ellie” can be found in urbandictionary.com also. It means: stunning.
So, my inner woman is both elegant and stunning! I try to portray her accordingly in how I present myself to the public.
My feminine name is a female version of my real name. However it was given to me by my wife after she discovered that I dressed. She was being slightly sarcastic but I liked the name and so adopted it.
I simply took a feminine version of my male name. I have a daughter with an alternate feminine version so I chose Lauren for myself.
My girlfriend helped me
Don’t tell her but my name originates from the same country her last name does
It means vibrant too and she said that matches me very well
I came out to some former classmates who are cisgender females and good friends and they helped me figure it out
It was a girlfriend of mine who said : you look like a Julie to me, so that’s how my name appeared 🙂
