Stepping out into the word as your female self can be incredibly empowering. It’s powerful validation for crossdressers and transgender women alike.
In this blog post, I want to dive into this topic and hear about your own experiences. How often do you present yourself as a woman in public?
Do you live as a woman full time? Do you crossdress regularly or on occasion? Or is the answer, sadly, “never”?
Please take my transgender / crossdressing survey and share your thoughts in the comments below!

I just wish one thing, that society would just accept men in skirts as they have women in pants.
Does it make us any different inside?
NO
Do we stare at women in pants?
NO
So why can’t society stop being judgemental and let us wear skirts and not stare or call us names
I somewhat agree with you Mark.
I’ve written in another of Lucille’s blog, what difference is the clothe
on your back.
Does one change because of different type of clothes,
do people throw their values away, because they wear different
gender clothes, have we forgotten how to be human.
i have been out for many years, i have been to evening courses and art classes as a girl , enjoyed life shopped around many local shops only buying female clothes when dressed,
i have enjoyed a fairly for filled life, as a women , been lucky i guess..
As i get older , I live happily in both mens and womens clothes, but one things i alway carry in both modes is my bag..
you know I use to worry all of the time but now I hardly think about it. I work a lot with the public and most see and address me as a woman already with the changes hormones have had on my body. I wear cloths that say I am what ever you see me as and I answer the same way to whom ever is speaking to me. I don’t know how a real woman feels as her feminine self but I know that I feel differently especially in my head, how I think, how people see me. I have come to enjoy when men flirt with me hoping to get better attention at my work; a place where I try to be and dress masculine but it’s not so easy to be that any more. In a round about way I’m almost a full time woman. If I could afford the transition I think I would choose to be but one thing is for sure I can no longer be considered a man.
so far i have not gone out as a women . With your guidance and support i may pass out soon.Thank you for your guidance and support
so far i have not come out in public as a women .I wish to try in future after full development when i could be passed as a women.

“seethalakshmi”…Nice Breasts…Do You Wear A Bra, Like I Do ?
Lucille, I go out rather frequently en femme, without fear. I go shopping wherever and whenever I want, to restaurants, movies, the library. I use the ladies’ room without thought, let alone without fear. I’ve stopped worrying about what others think many years ago, as far as this subject goes. As a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, I know how to prepare and present myself, so I have plenty of confidence in myself. 🙂
I got out whenver I can, Im lucky enough to have 2 good girl friends that love getting glammed up dare me to go out and its always a blast. Im just afraid of getting busted lol
I work in a homophobic factory and have to hide my sexuality (something I hate doing)
I DON’T LIVE IN AN IDEAL WORLD ,
THE WORLD I LIVE IN ITS BLOODY HARD TO GET A JOB AND IF I HAVE TO HIDE MY SEXUALITY SO BE IT.
I go out on dates as female to places I know my co works unlikely to go
