Stepping out into the word as your female self can be incredibly empowering. It’s powerful validation for crossdressers and transgender women alike.
In this blog post, I want to dive into this topic and hear about your own experiences. How often do you present yourself as a woman in public?
Do you live as a woman full time? Do you crossdress regularly or on occasion? Or is the answer, sadly, “never”?
Please take my transgender / crossdressing survey and share your thoughts in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille

Hi lucille I have this thing with what people think I am a retired marine veteran that has the body of a bodybuilder but my mother made my mistake as a baby by making me a boy, I was born with both genitals and when going through puberty I developed my breasts and that’s when i was forced to take testerone pills. Can you please help me, I’m lost I am taking the hormone therapy but just don’t know if it’s right And living in phoenix with alot of homophobic people and being harrassed and threatened cause of me considered being gay.
I am also a retired US veteran, even though I was not born with both genitals I was raised in a home that was so anti anything that crossed the accepted gender barriers. I do not think you should consider trying a gay lifestyle unless you actually are gay or at least bi-sexual. That would be the same as the life you have had to lead up until this point. Going to gay bars and making friends and possibly others who are going through the same life issues may give you the sense of security you need to get past peoples prejudices. I am planning to do just what I’ve suggested to you and I’ll be in the Phoenix area, maybe we’ll cross paths.

well Lucille , you are nice and benefited article. But Dear its not for suitable for daily or CD who live in village or small town. Your advice and make up very important for occasionally only for ME.
Hi , i have been wearing women dresses , now i know its called childhood crossdressers.yes , so ,i am same …
I have been going out without any make up some times, though i live make up and doing for daily my go out in huge public places as well i like very much in my localities and i go to my popular places where are live my relatives , my friends etc, but my make up very simple just use eyconic for changing my eye, Light lipstick, art my eyebrow, use wig , i have pierce so wear ring, simple brace late, dresses is very simple as a Indian woman , i try look like them and feeling . so i work and walk daily like a Indian woman ,here and there. Long time , i am trying to changes my face little. So for that , i search , and read varieties sites and article. Same Friend, i found, that all are advised Occasionally make up and for picture mean ( not for suitable CD who live in very small town, village, actually there are poor population as well known about their neighbors, so its great problem that i faces )

It has been 5 plus months since I have gone out as a woman. However last week my wife was on vacation and did I ever take advantage of the time. Every evening after work I would do my makeup and dressed up either causal or to the nines. How great it felt to have that freedom, I also enjoyed sleeping in my baby doll nightgown. Then on Friday I took the opportunity and made an appointment to work with a salon for a fitting of a new wig. The ladies were great with me and I felt very comfortable, I ended up buying a beautiful wig. Once I got home I immediately started to get ready for an evening out, shaved my legs, arm, chest, shower, and finally my makeup and dress. Then the big moment I put on my wig and felt complete and very pretty. I grabbed my purse and headed out, I was going to the casino and try my luck, lets just say the casino won. Want a wonderful experience I enjoyed being a woman for the evening as I did not make it home till 4am, I slipped on by nightgown and curled up for a few hours. Upon waking up I once again made my self up and headed for the mall for an afternoon of shopping, found a dress on sale for $23 which I bought and tried on at the store. I know I was made a few times as I heard passing comments like that was a man but no one confronted me. One thing which scared me was when a little girl approached me in the shoe store with her phone and was trying to take pictures of me, not sure she was successful and I just turned by back to her. She went away, but even that will not ruin the wonderful time I had as a women.
Hi Robin with an I,
Sounds like you had a lot of fun. May you have and enjoy more outings.
Good Luck from Robyn with a Y.
This past year I have really been working at being the women I for so long have fantasized about & the dividends are really paying off!
If I would have know about Lucille’s website sooner, it would have saved me years of experimentation & money! Her tips really work!
I am now to the point that I seriously need the voice training since I am able to at least blend in!

Greetings everyone,
I have been living as a woman 24/7 for the last 2 years and about 70% of the time for the previous 3 years. I go out whenever and wherever I want to, I even use the ladies room without even thinking about it. Any more, when out I just think of myself as just a woman, not some guy who likes to cross dress. You know, now it feels really strange to go out in guy mode.
At least for the past couple of years, everyone has called me ma’am. The only time I have been called sir instead of ma’am was at a bank about a month ago. The teller called me ma’am when he greeted me, but after I had to show him my drivers license, he must have called me sir a dozen times. I just let it go and did not said anything to him.
I finally came to the realization that I am a lot happier being a woman then I ever was a man. I am currently planning to have FFS and SRS, well as least after I am able to pay for the surgeries.
About the two photos, the one where I have dark blonde hair is 7-8 months old and the other one is 6+ years old. Roughly 90% of the dark blonde hair is mine. FYI, my DL photo is like the one below where I have dark blonde hair.
For whatever it is worth, my advice is to just relax and enjoy being feminine.
Robyn
Hi Robyn I do admire your calm relax attitude , but here in the UK we’re a little more conservative and yet I would love to do and more often .
Reason is that as soon as I step into JAS dressing I assumed her whole being , I love being a girl .
Love Jill
Hi JAS
I had not thought of it, but as a woman, as Robyn, my attitude is a lot more calm and relaxed then it was as a man. I also love being a girl. Well, good luck to you Jill.
Love Robyn
Right on Robyn. I’m enjoying life as a woman more and more. I’ve only started on my journey back in Nov.2013 but I’ve joined two support groups and really enjoy being in them. We talk about anything and everything we want to. I get a lot of my questions answered first hand, from the people that are experienced with the changes they have gone through themselves. I go out by myself to my favorite places and act like I belong there. Today I went to my cardiolegist to see if my hart can withstand a operation and He said there shouldn’t be any problem. Going from m/f is not that hard on the body,he said. I’m a 70 year old thats why I had a concern about it. I’m really enjoying life like I never did before.
Good Luck to you Ronald. May I suggest, if you have not already, pick a feminine name to use. One site you can try is http://www.babynames.com/ there are others sites, I just do not remember the URL’s for any of them.
I will tell you this, as a woman I can get away with a lot of things that I could not as a man. I was in a car dealership a few weeks ago because they had sent out a flyer to bring in and see if you won a prize. While I was there, I had four salesman buzzing about me. Just shows that guys are drawn to pretty ladies.
Robyn
