This photo was taken by a friend on my very first time out in public. If you’re wondering why my hair (or to be more accurate, wig) looks like such a mess, it’s because it was such a beautiful, sunny and yet, incredibly windy day.
I like to go out early morning, when there’s not a lot of people
One thing i love about the Lockdown was getting dressed every single day. I live in a country where the lockdown was severe, ie only supermarket and pharmacy allowed. Attached is a photo of me about to go supermarket shopping.
We’re allowed out a little more now, here in the UK. Today I joined a social distancing queue at our supermarket. Spent about 5 minutes waiting.
I have found that it’s quite nice just being in the open air with a lovely dress on queueing, then shopping.
Here’s me with a selfie stick.
I was in Vegas and tried to wear this out… I chickened out 🙁 Next time!
Oh you should have darling…you look gorgeous!
Too bad, It’s everybody’s loss. You look GREAT honey!!
Show and Tell? Well, when I thought about this for a little bit, the “tell” part came first in the form of a line from a very old song that says…
“What a long, strange trip its been”
The “Show” part came next when I decided to show one pic from the “beginning” in 2003 when I had my first professional makeover, looked in the Looking Glass and saw myself for the very first time…then I went into the pic archives and found one pic for every few years of my journey ending with two pics taken a couple of weeks ago.
That’s my show and tell, ladies…and thanks, Lucille. I’ve been a fan and subscriber since first discovering your Looking Glass many moons ago.
Cheers
