Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

My style is classic.
I stepped out in femme mode wearing a ribbed t-shirt and jean overalls.I had white socks with white Keds.My nails were french manicured.Pink and white. To smell my best.I spritz on Woman Cool Water. On my wrist,I had a hair scrunchie. My makeup was done perfect. My wig had a hairline. But it wasn’t a lace wig.I never had to adjust it.I was a pretty girl.Under my clothes,I would wear panties with a maxi pad.My bra fit me like a glove. No buldges or ride up.My boyfriend knew I was trans. He would treat me like a lady. His family accepted me too.Me and his sister would talk like sisters. She will be with me when I have my sexchange.
Somehow over the years I have most enjoyed presenting myself as that classy, smartly-dressed, well-appointed, professional businesswoman. While working in major city centers during the 1980s, I always enjoyed gals in 2-piece pencil skirt-fitted blazer business suits, thin crepe/nylon/polyester/satin blouse (showing some slip or camisole lace over bra straps and cups), small heel pumps, black or nude stockings/pantyhose, all with great style in jewelry/make-up/hair . . . . so thats been my public “look” for the last 25 years. I also love classic office-wear thin/fitted dresses, or cute clingy knit-tops with a flimsy patterned satin/nylon skirt – then add a long sweater and cute playful scarf.
Lately I’ve been wearing my hair up on both sides in matching plastic clips, then long in back with cute feathery bangs in front. I love just blending in to a busy downtown setting during the work day, or morning commute, late afternoon heading home form the office. I visit office towers, libraries, pedestrian malls with food courts where all the business-types eat lunch, busy/crowded university campuses (pass for an office worker or maybe English professor).
And I like to attend classical music/chamber music concerts or “live” theatre in nice venues, so I can wear my blacks and grays with white see-thru tops (show plenty of slip/cami/bra straps/cups/lace), along with classic skirts, flats, black stockings. I’m always shooting for elegant, refined, classic late 40s/early 50s mature gal.
Just took a pic of a new top
You look very nice in it.
I don’t have the slightest idea, so I voted for other.
A friend often tell me I’m fashionista, but I don’t consider that myself.
Tese are some of the styles I usually go out with:
You look very nice in all of your pics. Great job of bringing your inner self out.
I think fashionista comes closest to my style. Though at home i’m usually more ‘girl next door’…
Your lovely either way.
I think i might fit into the category of B/R. But i try to rock whatever i wear
I agree with you. Let your feminine self soar.
Thank you kindly sweetie
My style depends on the way I feel when I decide to get dressed. But I tend to go for dark colors and lace and ruffles.
