Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

Being on a fixed disability income, I should be happy to present as the educated-girl-from-the-working-class that I am. I’m thinking modest, functional makeup; longish but reasonably nice, affordable hair; probably not much jewelry (but I’d LOVE a big old ‘candy’ necklace!); some small earrings; & a “budget” wardrobe. You know, appropriate for different situations in which I’d find myself, and varied enuf so I’m not that Seinfeld girl who seemed to only own one dress(!), but nobody’s idea of “flamboyant,” for good or for ill. A couple feminine wristwatches … but my OCPD probz couldn’t handle bangle/bracelets! Even my eyeglasses would have to be Medicaid, so nothing too lavish.
I had the privilege of going to college with and dating nice *and* reasonably attractive girls from or near my own rung on the social ladder, so I like to think I have a decent idea of what I’d aim for, even if it’s not the ’80s anymore. Ordinary jeans *and* nice jeans, mix-&-match tops/blouses, tank tops(?), shorter and longer skirts, slacks, khaki shorts, T-shirts, cutoffs, sweats, pink sneakers a must!, comfortable shoes, maybe 1-2 less-comfortable pairs per need, maybe 3-4 dresses when required…. And a little Pride too! These might sound kind of youthful for early-mid-50s, but I’m kind of babyfaced, a strawberry blonde, with light features and facial hair, so I think that’ll help once Leanne is ‘out there’ … I hope so, anyway.
Remind myself I’m not above Salvation Army/Goodwill to stay within budget…. If money was no object, I’m still not sure I’d go nuts, since that’s never been “me.” Tho who knows once I get the right ‘mones in me?! 😉
My style is classy. This is definitely the type of lady I am. Many of my genetic female friends tell me that I should always wear skirts and dresses because they are jealous of my legs…giggles
my girlfriend/mistress likes me to be dressed in a way that well get a second look from guys, nothing over the top, just tight jeans, sweaters, a line skirts and high heels.
I have always enjoyed dressing up in a classic style. Especially being past the teenage and mid stage I think that it suits me just fine. Like most of the others here I would just like to be seen as just another woman and not someone who is trying to look like something that they could not pull off.
I love romance and the audios are so so awesome Need to make one us girls who want to fall in love with a man.
I try to be like a normal and real woman because I want to blend in as a woman. I want people to see and think of me as a woman when out in public. I try to sound and talk like a real woman and also my gestures, mannerisms, movements and walk is like a real woman. I try to dress sexy but I dress to hide any maleness but display my femininity. I do use tampons to enhance my feelings of being feminine. Tampons do aid with all the things I already mentioned I do my makeup as a normal real GG would. I do not care for gaudy dressed, overly madeup, wigs that are not natural, loud irritating shrill talking drag queens that make it obvious as to what they are and constantly talking well above anyone else.
I am very classic.. an have been told this by many friends, both male an female. This is the real me !!!
Well,,I have always enjoyed,,no loved dressing as a woman,at times, the situation, or my feelings change, when I’m alone, just general normal day clothes let me relax, bit of makeup, bra panties, sloppy top and jeans,,,but other times I really push the boat out,,long evening dress and all the works, so I suppose in my heart of hearts, it’s just like a woman would be x.x.x
