Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

Although every girl has to have the little black dress!
I have always leaned for the more classic look. I want to be be seen as an elegant woman who enjoys her femininity.
Lucille,
My respective look is ladylike and elegant. I like the relative modesty look. I like longer dresses in a fit and flare style. Godets and gores, both in my dresses and my skirts, are a definite with me. That being said, I’ve been told I look matronly. The lengths that appeal to me mostly are a couple of inches above the knee. However, on occasion I’ll go a couple of inches above the knee. And of course, high heels are a must.

Correction. I meant to say the lengths that appeal to me mostly are a couple of inches “below” the knee. I definitely am a midi dress woman. 🙂
A style i love classic lines, clinched at the waist with a simple wide belt. Obviously worn with classic underwear and of course shear stockings
I am thousand times different then most on here. I am a very masculine androgynous gender bending male to female crossdresser.
I wear a full beard, don’t shave body hair, don’t wear make-up or wigs, I don’t do the female impersonation thing or the drag queen thing and I wear skirts and dresses daily and want to be called a man.
I took the femininity poll on here and I get between 8% – 12% femininity.
I wear womens clothing because I like them, nothing more
My fashion choices have changed a lot in the last 5 years. When I weighted 225 I generally wore dresses, from basic to elegant. Since I’ve lost 90 pounds, I now prefer skirts and a frilly or flowery top unless I have to be professional looking and then it’s a skirt and blazer. As a aside, loosing a lot of weight is both a blessing and a curse. The curse is nothing I owned 5 years ago fits any more, and most of what I own can’t be altered enough to fit. The blessing is I feel better and I get to do a lot of shopping. Mind you, I wasn’t in bad physical shape when I was at 225. I was a firefighter and passed my physical endurance and strength requirements every year, which is why my legs are probably my best asset. 🙂
Duplicate entry sorry
My feminine presentation is age appropriate but fashionable.
My preference is to dress “to the nines” but not always practical.
Simple sheath dress is appropriate for day wear..
You look great! It’s always better to be fashionable and dressed to the nines IMO. 🙂
