Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I don’t own any male clothes anymore. Everything I have is marketed for a woman, even though some of it is more androgynous if I absolutely must present in boy mode for some reason (those reasons are getting fewer and fewer).
I can usually enjoy the holidays en femme. I love dressing up for secial occasions…
Love the photo!
I thank you for your tips. Would like to do more things but get told not to. Like to have someone to talk to as girl talk with. Lawrencea
Hi, a few years ago I decided to stop hiding and let people know who I really am.
Fortunately, at the time we had a really nice HR officer and he prepared the way for me to wear women’s clothes at work.
I spoke to my workmates about how I felt and they were broadly very supportive.
I don’t have a female name or wear a wig or makeup but I do come to work every day in a skirt or dress, stocking, heels, etc.
I do wear a bra and am well on my way to filling a B cup and have no worries about wearing a thin top in public so that my bra is visible even if I don’t appear to be particularly feminine.
I only wear women’s clothes now, even if it’s just trousers and a top and I feel so much more comfortable with myself.
I would like to wish everyone the best for their own particular jourbey.
Love, Pete
That great. I know work is a big challenge for many girls. Congratulations on all your progress!
Ever since January, I’ve given myself a chance to step outside my comfort zone. I spent a weekend or two in nightclubs (mainly lesbian or LGBT sponsored nightlife event). From there, I’m surprised that many have not recognized me as a man at all. I still spend time dressed in my room, watching a movie or listening to music. But there are times when I’ll be walking around my house in my outfits. As of now, I’m still enjoying the night out as my female self.
Beautiful photos. You look very feminine!
I also wanted to add another pic of me that was recently taken. I was at a lesbian nightclub last Saturday, met a new friend, and had lots of fun. I’m quite surprised that this pic turned out great. I don’t know if anyone suspected me as a man that night or not.

I am in my early 60’s, I have decided that 2011 is the year for me to be the person that I am supposed to be. My mother started dressing me at a very early age (3yrs) as she always wanted a girl. Whenever my dad wasn’t home she dressed me and this went on until my 1st year of high school, it just seemed to be a way of life and felt natural for me. After going through 2 marriages that did not work as neither wife understood my needs, I am now free to be me..soooo this is my year
Hi to all of you girls i have learn from you many things, lucille thank you beauty for your tips I’m going out some day i fell so much like a woman inside !! but i wish to move to where nobody know me 😉 a big kiss to all !!
Hey ladies,
I’ve been transitioning on injectable hormone therapy for a a year and 3 months. Believe it or not, I have not dressed since like a month into transition. To be honest, when you start estrogen, the desire to dress femme gets alot less. I truly cannot wait to lose like 50 lbs or more so that my figure is more pronounced as I can tell that I have some sexy curves under existing man muscle and fat. Before hormones I was like a B cup from FLAT TO FEMME ALONE and in the last year I have become like a d cup, without the message, because self gratifying things have gone from twice a day to once a month. I’m 30 now and would like to see more on those transitionining between 30 and 40. When I do lose the weight, I will gradually get to full time, and CAN’T WAIT!
Love, Dana
