If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?

I do not own any male clothes. During the day it is bra panties and androgynous blouses and pocket patterned women’s jeans. Shoes/boots have 2 to 4 inch heals, I buy leg lengths to suit the heal height. No one notices. I dress fully and go out at least once a week, dress to blend in use the ladies washrooms and change rooms. My wife of 33 years has big issues accepting and understanding. It has been a rocky road since I came out 8 years ago but we are working through it. She is OK with me going out just dont involve her. She has boundaries in the house and I am only allowed to wear tank tops and panties to bed and not dress fully in the house. With flat to fem I am now size A heading towards B after 1 year.

Congrats on your Flat-to-Fem program. I started the program 2 years ago with fenugreek/red clover/saw palmetto and then started puraria murifica (the smell is much much better). I was completely flat chested when I started and now am a solid B, but may have plateaued. I don’t know if I will continue to see if my bosom will continue growing. I have been using the Noogleberry pump for the last 8 months also. Keep at it.girl!
Wish I could go out more often as Lindsey. When I work from home I try to be my femme self, and also when I know the kids are away. Mostly I getto be Lindsey at night when the kids are in bed. I guess wearing my nightgowns and pajamas is better than nothing.
I am a full-time transwoman and have been so since January of this year. There have been some disappointments from those whom I consider my closest supporters, but overall I am so happy to be living as a female you just cannot imagine.
I went shopping and out to lunch with my bff’s and it was so much fun. They are both gg(girls) and they have been begging me to go shopping with them for a couple years. I finally said yes and it was amazing. It was my first time out so I was a lil shy. We went to the mall and omg, the highlight def was victoria’s secret! I’ve shopped there a lot but this was the first time as a girl. The girls that work there were so sweet. We bought a couple things each and it was so nice walking around the mall with my cute victoria’s secret bags 🙂 lunch was so much fun too. Luved it when the waitress said ” hi ladies. ” it was such a fun day.

Restraurants, Grocery Stores, Convenience Stores, Bars and Pubs and a little bit of window shopping too. It didnt happen over night, but it did happen and I am just thrilled because of it!
My femme time is split evenly right now between my home area as well as a lot of the different cities I travel to for work. Over time, I hope my femme time is more often than not. Right now, my glam time is routinely sparodic.
Lately, it is very exciting to be in different places that only know my femme persona. There are many things I need to balance in my personal and professional life before femme time so I have yet to begin and end a day enfemme, but that time is coming. While I am limited in certain regards, I am also afforded alot of opportunities to express myself in this way…a fair bargain indeed!!!
On my list of places to go enfemme are…museums,the library, a book store, art galleries and the movies to name a few.
