Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

Hi Lucille, thank you for all your posts/blogs you’ve been sending to transgender women and crossdressers like us(me). I’ve been expressing my femininity alone at home. But i like to go out in public en femme. It’s painful that i live in a society(Nigeria) where crossdressing is equated with criminal offence. I want to go out all day en femme; i want to mix up with women in the society en femme. I want to live like a normal woman dressing up fro head to toe and making up like a woman everyday. What should i do? I know you have a good advice for me. Thank you !
Typo alert I wish to thank you not I (is) Love M.J.
Hi Lucille again I is to thank you and Valerie I’m finally trying to talk to someone here locally I just started so hopefully I’ll find someone I can talk to I’m sorry I’ve been doing so much self therapy here if that is what I’ve been doing or babbling which ever applies you both have been so very helpful to me I can never thank you enough I feel Love M.J.
Hi Lucille honey O know I’ve slowed down on my talking of transitioning I still wish to transition moving all my things to storage not just my feminine things which I had to keep hidden during the move which was stressful to say the least but the entire ordeal has drained me for one really got me depressed two an having to let go of so many things I really would rather have kept but I just had no space for in storage three okay maybe not in this order as its all so depressing and then not being able to dress as I wish currently Love M.J.
Hello Lucille I hope to soon see some new material here I think I’ve seen & read just about everything here but soon enough I’m sure I will Love M.J.
Hello girls hope everyone is feeling fine today I know I am better than ever
I have presented myself en femme in the vote but not lately but I hope to soon and then to my therapist when I get one and then who knows the mall or other places at some point until I’m fully passable
I met a 72 year old male admirer of TG women online, he encouraged me to express myself and upon meeting him at his home for a meal he said I should be in my female persona as often as I could and supported me as I began to express myself more fully as Caitlin. That was 15 months ago and in that time he has paid for me to undergo hormone treatment, breast surgery and other feminine life changing steps and has been there every step of the way, I am now living 100% of the time now as Caitlin both in private and public and am happily also his girlfriend which 12 months before I could have never envisioned being true but with his support am gratefully doing and have been enjoying the happiest part of my life.
Caitlin
You look amazing
