Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

At home I dress very fem weather alone or with a friend. I do wear bra and panties 24/7 in or out of the house.
I replied other to the survey so here it is: Most of the clothing I wear is female; jeans, tops shoes and under things. I probably look more Butch but that’s ok. I feel good when I’m out and about. At home it’s a little more femme.
I now live 24/7 as a Trans woman. My co-workers and place of employment have been most supportive. I separated from my wifeof then 35 years to live as the woman I knew I was since age 8.
I have found that just blending-in with other cis-womenisquite easy. They accept me and I am now part of the sisterhood.
I do most of mine at home when the wife is not around. Getting harder since I retired
I have been living as a Female for the last 3 3/4 years. I did lose my good job because I was going to transition at work. So, if you work at Cintas, do not try to Transition at work they will find a reason to fire you. I did get a Job as a warehouse manager and worked there for over 6 months until the eliminated my position and I worked as Amy. No, I do not pass and I am easily outed, but I do not care, I will live my Life as I see fit and that is as Amy. I feel so much better inside, not having to act Male anymore and that was just it. I acted as a Male most of my life and pulled it off, all the time knowing I am Female inside. I say let yourself be who you really are and you can only help us all be who we are. It is a really rough road, but so is Life, it can be very lonely and at times Dangerous, just be careful and don’t go anyplace that is not safe. If you feel unsafe and to many people starring, leave, get out and be safe about it. Buy Tear gas and keep it on you. I am a Lesbian, so I have to be very careful, I have many Males interested in me, but I have no interest in them. Stay Safe Ladies and enjoy Your Life as Yourself.
I’ve been living full time as a woman since 08.09.96! Coming up on 16 years! Been to four high school reunions, Ex-spouse’s funeral, visited my kids and grandkids. Been hospitalized several times for illnesses. Used to work as a woman, but retired in April 2009. Great life, if you don’t weaken! Became a member of The Well Armed Woman, joined local club and range, and have taught a few women to shoot. Love my life!
The more I go out, the more my confidence grows, WHICH ADDS to my ability to act as if I were a woman. I LOVE being Angie when on a business trip. I have met several wonderful people while traveling…..LOVE you Lucille!
Angie
Lucille is right, a smile makes a world of difference and you have a lovely smile!
I learned many years ago that people go out in public they are all on a mission, especially to the grocery store. So I quickly got over the fear of being outed. Remember gurls, women come in all shapes and sizes. So enjoy your self when going out, I do.
