Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

My spouse lets me go out every other week and I am so comfortable going anywhere.
Theater (theatrical play), mall, some nightclubs, church, but not at work.
I am very fortunate to be able to live 99% of the time as a female. That was not true 6 years ago. But life opened new doors to me after going legally blind. I am now one of the moderators for Thegirlinside (TGI) on yahoo, work as a TS Holistic Health Therapis and moreclothes and heels than I ever thought possible (LOL)II still have miles to go to be where I feel I want to be. But that will come. Tank you for your site it really does help….Angel
i present myself at Angell Job Corps in Yachats Oregon people call me Pinky because i wear a lot of pink and a lot of people here dont like me doing it but they know what i think and they dont care but then again i dont care what they think because i have a lot of friends here that support me and ive gotten a lot of complements from the staff here even that i am pretty hot and look good in both ways even the complements of me having perfect legs for being a girl and having the right looks its amazing how far you can go with friends that support you and injoying a good girl talk with your friends that are girls wile dressed and confident thanks Lucille Sorella.
Gosh I’ve been living full time for almost 6 years. Even at the age of 61 finially feel good about myself. I am retired so no one to set limits. I dress as any genetic female,my own hair is well below my shoulders. I do on special days wear a wig of which I have a couple different styles and colors. It is so nice to just be myself. I have been going steady with a wonderful gentleman for the last 6 months. Maybe this will the year?
Except for two places I am 24/7. In fact my wonderful spouse complains when I have to pretend to be a boy at times.

You are so lucky and be thankful your spouse allows you to be yourself 24/7
I dress at home with my wife’s help, after the kids are gone to school or to bed for the night. I do wear panties and a bra 24/7.
I am in the beginning stages of transition – not quite to RLE. I currently go out in full makeup and conservative cross-dress in many public settings, but not around my job or family. At bars, support groups and other more TG friendly places I go fully fem.
I can only take a day or 2 a month to be me, but it certainly feels good. I never knew it could feel so good to be “ma’amed” when I bought some nail polish at a Walgreens. I am working on voice and hope to be able to use it at will.
Keep up the good work Lucille and good luck to all the girls!
