Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

The thing is I only get the chance to dress about once a month. But when I do I enjoy it to the fullest, shopping, restaurants, clubs, and driving around town.
I live in Seaboard N.C. and have been dressed as a woman everywhere I go. Womens shorts with inseams of 5 inches or less, women’s sneakers and shaven legs. I love the looks both men and women have given me. I just love it when I’m addressed as ma’am. I also have eye liner and lite makup.
I go 24/7 as a woman and have been doing so since 2002. This having been said I have had to sort out a lot into my head. Also, I am only just becoming legally female. In about 2 weeks from today—it is the 7 of June, 2019 as I am writing this—I will have a new license with the new gender marker as female and with my new name which is actually only is new legally as I have been “Angélique” since about 2005 as my first name and “Mariangela” much later.
Living as a woman obviously suits me better so I might as well face it!
I live in West Texas and I have no problem of going anywhere! I have made many friends with the sales ladies where I shop.
I enjoy going out in public as long as I’m pretty sure I will not have close interaction with other people. It gets a little old just walking around the house all the time. I’m just a part time crossdresser, not transgender, so I don’t have the time or money to invest in voice feminization and all the make-up and expensive wigs it would take for me to actually pass as a woman. I just enjoy exploring my feminine side and experiencing as much as I can as a woman. I try and find places with not too many people where I can walk around and snap a few pictures of myself. 🙂
I now underdress all the time. Not the same as being out and proud but it allows me to feel beautiful without spooking the horses (and my wife).
I live 24/7 as a female and have for about 3 or 4 months now so I go everywhere as “me.” I don’t go into bars/nightclubs any more and I never do photo shoots and have never been to any type of TG event. Personally, I am in therapy and am on the road to transition and am so happy that one day soon, my body will reflect what I feel inside. When I was younger I spent a couple years living female and was the victim of a hate crime, so I too understand woman’s fears of being alone. Today I say, don’t allow fear to control your life, just be very aware of your surroundings and learn to defend yourself, just in case! !!!
I go everywhere. And I pass for the most part.
