Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

Hi Girls
I go out en femme as much as I can – I spend most weekends en femme. The City where I live ( Leeds England) is really brilliant to be a t-girls.
I organise some social event there and please let me know if anyone is interested in attending or perhaps making their “Debut ” !!

I go out regularly with my spouse completely en femme, she is even willing to support my decisions. We even made the agreement that if we don’t have children by july 2012 she’ll even allow me to begin more permanent transitioning.
I have been in total stealth mode, wearing nothing but women’s clothing while in guy mode, for more than a year, except when I have to wear a suit for work.
Initially, going out en femme with the goal of being perceived as a genetic girl was a frightening proposition. Now it isn’t. The single most important factor in overcoming that fear has been repetition. Repetition has allowed me to improve my makeup skills, my walk, my demeanor, my voice, and all the other things that are a part of my female self. The second most important factor was finding a TG support group where I could be en femme with other T-girls. The comfort level these women have given me is phenomenal. I urge you all to find a support group. Start your search by looking at this website: http://www.espritconf.com/ Attending that conference will change and improve your life.
The confidence I now have enabled me to reveal my feminine side to my two sons and daughter. They are comfortable enough with me that they will be attending my birthday party next week, which is being held in a nightclub where they will most definitely see me in a dress!
That’s great, Cory! Thanks for sharing.

I drive truck for a living and I dress up while driving but change back into t-shirt and jeans when dealing with customers but I always wear at least a bra.
I have been living full time for nearly a year, and have had very few negative responses. I work with some very understanding people, who have completely accepted me for who I really am. Making the decision to begin my transition was scary at first, but friends, family, and coworkers have helped me to realize that I made the right decision.

Fully accepted & supported by what family I have left, to best of my knowledge have not lost one friend with my transition. Have made a number of new friends as well some of whom know and some that don’t but all accept me as Patti.
Is there a local support group in the Gainesville and/or Ocala area for dressers and spouses?
My wife likes to play with me as a gurl and I really enjoy it and our play time. But she won’t let me go out dressed. She insists i’m hers and no one is to know. She does insist though, when we go out that I wear panties, hose and a bra.
