While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!

I went out to a couple thrift stores. Have been out to restaurants a few times. Going out the door the first time is unbearably nerve wracking. Once you do it, it gets easier. It helps to go out with other gurls. Truly freeing! There’s a deep inner peace I get letting that side of me live in the public. Real people. They really treat you like a lady! Just have to be nice back.

I go to bars i go to some beaches i sometime get some jobs that i can and when i travel rarely i do…im not passable will never be so i do the best i can….im self employed more than your average handy man service….if i could get the work in fem id be in fem all the time….but it just dont work that way and honestly dont blame anyone for it…im half in fem almost every day i wear girl short a lot girl jenns some times nails painted so girl shirts and tank top in the cooler times i wear a bra and mosly womens button up shirts…but hey that just me and what i do each has a road to reason with….

Courage is a tough thing.
I often have long conversations with my alter ego…should I go ? What if a neighbor sees me ? What if my worlds collide ?
In the end I remind both of myselves that it is our lives and we should live them as we wish….When we return we are much happier.

I see a lot of comments about being afraid to go out in public. That’s too bad. I’m retired now, and pretty much live every day as a woman. The more you go out en femme, the more comfortable you become. I’m also lucky only being 5’6” as well. Here I am today out shopping. I just had a pedicure earlier in the day. Who knows, maybe I’ll meet Mr. Right! LOL! Have fun!
