Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I used to be able to get out a fair bit to shop, travel and see friends.. Retirement has limited that but I still manage to dress at least partially to go shopping on occasion and I hope soon to take a collection of clothes to a friends for a dress up evening.
I dress at every opportunity to satisfy my feminine side. I love being femme. X

While this topic is fresh in everyone’s head, here I am today shopping for shoes! While I was out, I had lunch at a nice restaurant. Whim I am eating the salad I ordered, a nice gentleman stops by my booth and starts asking me questions like where are you from, your pretty, are you single! OMG, anyhow, he finally asks the big question. Would you like to go out to dinner? I declined and said I’m with someone now. But it was flattering! Here is what I was wearing today. What do you think?

My wife finally “agree” to let me go one time a month to a meeting for t girls, in fact she does not accept it, When she is on a family visit abroad i have the opportunity to do something “extra”, like visiting a market or some shopping.
If 75% of the transgender/crossdressing population does not leave the house, maybe contacting a nearby support group would be a good first step. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment for a first time experience in public. Crossdressers can contact TriEss (Society for the Second Self) to find regional support chapters.
Hey ladies – just wondering. I was out the other day as usual in my female personality and was sitting down having lunch at a local restaurant. And an elderly man propositioned me! He asked me if I was married and I said no, then he asked me out for a date! I declined, but told him I was flattered all the same but I had a husband! I am positive he thought I was a female. Anyhow, I thought it was cute. Anything like that happen to any of you? Here is what I was wearing when he talked to me

That was very nice of that man asking you out gurl… I looked at your photos, you have very goods taste for wearing pretty outfits, and very pretty as wll. Myself Suzy, no way I’m passable, but love the femineinwe feeling when wearing panties, thigh highs, garter belt and my heels. Thank you Suzy for sharing your story… (smiling).

I’m used to the stares. Most places that I go they call me maam.
I love to dress up and shop, I really love how most women in Fashion sales are so willing to help me, sometimes it is because they are curious, or just ok with it, but I have also found some find it disturbing, but more often on the side they seem stimulated by it, a lot of smiles an sweet verbal expression about how items look on me. They actually will pick items out for me to try on and make suggestions, I love it.

Without a doubt “Out Shopping”! I do not get to be Barbara often, but when I do, I am in my favorite shops and stores. It is an exciting time to update my wardrobe, try on shoes and enjoy every second of being out. Shopping, buying new outfits and rushing home for the fashion show photos….what a wonderful time.
