Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I always wear short dresses and skirts and I love to show lots of leg, sometimes too much when I’ve had too many cosmos because I do have great legs.
I love to go out as Sharon as often as possible, at least once a week. I go to quiet bars and sit cross legged and drink the number one lady’s drink, Cosmos. I use the lady’s rooms to pee and do my hair and makeup and I love it if other women come and talk to me and think of me as a woman. I love it when I’ve had a few too many cosmos because it makes me feel vulnerable and feminine.
I love being Alexis whenever and where ever I can. I go to work, do most most shopping, go to movies, walking with friends all as Alexis. Work is great as can be Alexis all the time
I like to go on trips to historical monuments, to the museum. And like any woman I love shopping.
M,
Love the look, as I am very similar…
Full flared dresses with petticoats and 100% nylon stockings, heels/ bag & belts matching.
At 73, gets harder every year to make it all happen. Can’t walk far in heels with all my orthopedic issues!!
You look fabulous.
I have started to put my 6 garter straps of my corset Over my petticoats. I will sometimes wear an OBG, Under.
Pics to demo. Gives a straighter line in front and back. Try it, see what you think. Been to these locations, great to travel!

I know many of you never venture past your front door, or if you have family, not even that. There are things you can do to enhance your feeling “feminine” every day. For instance, I don’t even own any male underclothes, I buy several different brands (Hanes, etc) of womens panties that are kind of unisex type. When my wife asked about them I told her I bought them on-line and thought they were mens and have found that they were much more comfortable than my old ones, and she accepted that. I often will “run out” of clean undies and ask if I might wear a pair of hers until mine are washed, she is amused by it and agrees, telling me I have to “show” her which is a real turn-on for me. I have taken supplements and do have small breasts which she has noticed but never said anything, and I often wear a sport bra under my suits. You can wear thigh high stockings also, paint your toes, grow your hair out and make it look “gender neutral”. I feel so feminine all the time now and I think my wife is catching on because she teases me about wearing her panties. She even plays with my breasts during sex now. I cant come out because of our daughter so for now these are the things I do to feel more like Deedee.
I love spending time as Diane and try to get out at least once a week. It may only be window shopping, lunch in a park or walking by the seafront. A wonderful experience that makes me feel a part of the real world – sadly, very little interaction with others but the experience makes me feel a little more complete.
Diane
You look great!
I also enjoy similar outings, but like you find myself alone wishing I had a friend to enjoy freedom with.
Please continue to enjoy your outings, and I hope one day you will be able to find a true friend that will accept you for who you are.

I crossdress openly at home and in my street, including meeting and talking to neighbours and when we have visitors.
