Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I just dress like how I always dress. Look like how I always look. I’m more the t-shirt and shorts type. Maybe makeup, maybe not. I don’t really go many places. Grocery store. Occasionally clothes shopping.
HRT therapy has helped with my anxiety and made a big difference for my confidence. Before I feared non acceptance from others and now not so much. Doesn’t mean that I’m totally comfortable with myself but it’s a big step in that direction. I applaud you for your confidence and achievements in just being yourself.
Ive Crossdressed all my life, as a Child I did it and liked it and my Mom loved it and im 25 years old Now and still Dress as a Girl, when Im Out or with family…
I love to dress up as a woman as often as I can, I have been out to bars when in my bra and fem clothes it makes me fill good being dressed as a woman.
I’ve always had a fascination for wanting to be a girl as far back as I can remember but never pursued it and then I met my soon to be wife and that’s when it all started. She came at one night wanting to dress me up and I let her do it and it was fun. Well that fun has now become every weekend Friday thru Sunday and I’m really wanting to start transitioning into a full time women and my girl is super cool with it she even calls me her weekend lesbian but at the same time I’m scared of the public thing as of now we stay at home or I drive her around dressed but I never get off anywhere. She begs me to get out and go in places with her but I still see me as a guy with makeup on and she sees me as a girl. It’s tough living like this because I love being a girl way more then I do a guy. Maybe one day I’ll get brave enough to let it all go and just do it
Everyone has their own story and here’s some of mine. I’m a married hetero CD whose wife and grown daughter do not condone my crossdressing. I work as a male and have a full beard which I enjoy but I can’t just shave it off and put it back on.
With that being said I go totally enfemme most often when home alone, sometimes I’ll take a drive. Gathering encouragement from this site I have ventured out into my fairly private backyard. A few times I have gone to the field across the street at night to walk the dog and I have gone to a few remote parks for a stroll.
Someday I would love to go to another city and spend a few days out enfemme ( w/o the beard). It would be such a thrill!
I do wear a bra and panties almost every day. Quite often I wear women’s jeans, socks, shoes as well as shirt or jacket. I’m sure if someone paid attention they could tell but as others have said most people are unaware.
I find my enfemme time relaxing, therapeutic and/or stimulating. I truly find my feelings/senses more alive when X-dressed.
I cannot tell you how much I envy those who have the support of spouses, family & friends. I THANK all those who have gone out and are changing minds and paving the way making it easier for the rest of us!
Bless you Lucille for everything you do!!
Love to all my sisters, I respect your journey.

I was concerned that I might be one of the few who answered “At home alone.” But it is the most frequent response. That is reassuring to see that so many of my sisters feel the way I do. I am also inspired by reading the positive comments from those of you who are venturing out and fully embracing the experience. It’s nice to feel a part of a community that is so inclusive and supportive. It’s so comforting to chat with you about the journey!
