Your hair is a big part of your female image. While feminine hair is typically associated with long hair, short hair can also look cute, fun, and sexy!
There are lots of reasons why transgender women and crossdressers might opt for a shorter hairstyle. For one thing, short hair is practical and low-maintenance. It also makes a bold fashion statement!
Now obviously, shorter hairstyles can lean towards a more masculine look. However, with the right cut and styling, MTF short hairstyles can look chic and feminine.
In this blog, I’ll share my top 3 tips for feminizing short hair. Read on to learn more!
3 Tips for Feminizing MTF Short Hairstyles
1. Get a cute haircut
The first thing you need is a great haircut that can be styled in different ways. Choppy layered styles are fashionable and look great in both male and female modes.
Ask your hairstylist to show you different options for styling your hair. Layers that are swept towards the face are very feminine and flattering. Curls are another great, girly option.
2. Try a hair accessory
Transgender women with short hair look fantastic with barrettes and headbands, so this is an easy way to feminize a short haircut.
You can wear hair accessories at any age, but choose something appropriate. Stay away from girly bows or headbands after age 30. Instead, go for something sophisticated like a beautiful barrette or a pretty flower for your hair.
3. Wear a hat
Hats are a great fashion accessory. They make a bold fashion statement and add a touch of sophistication to any outfit.
Hats also offer an easy way to feminize your hairstyle. In fact, you don’t even have to do your hair! Just throw on a pretty hat and you’re good to go.
Be sure to consider the season when selecting a hat. That means you’ll want to avoid knit hats in the summer and straw hats in the winter. Felt hats can be worn year round except for during the hottest months.

I noticed that about my browse too. I almost have the “Imo-brow” look until I stopped into a salon. I asked stylist to thin my browse from the bottom and give them a nice curve. I had intended to slowly thin them until they didn’t look too masculine and not too feminine. That has worked well for about six months and then when I got the shape I want decided I can tale care of them myself.
I bought a waxing kit and now I do them my self. I also now wax other parts of my body including my chest, arms, legs, and I have my girlfriend help me with my back and under arms.
There are A Lot of advantages to waxing. Smoother skin and it lasts a lot longer than shaving. Plus I feel more beautiful with thinner and.more shapely facial features of thin feminine looking eye browse.

I love to wear my real hair long past my shoulders LOVE REBECCA LEE,
My hair’s gotten long enough to get caught in my belt when I’m getting dressed, but I usually wear it in a shoulder-length tail. I let it down sometimes but I need to get it trimmed back.
I have loved long hair all my life !
