Having an attractive waist-to-hip ratio is a key aspect of feminine beauty. But what if your belly is your problem area?
The good news is that there are some simple fashion tricks you can use to instantly trim your tummy and slim your waistline.
Not only will these tricks make you appear thinner, they will also help you achieve a more feminine, hourglass shape.
If that sounds exciting, let’s dive into my top 7 belly-flattening fashion tips for crossdressers and MTF transgender women!
Trick #1: Wear a Shaping Camisole
Corsets and girdles will certainly pull you in, but they’re not very comfortable for daily wear.
Instead, wear a shaping camisole under your clothes. It’s a wonderful alternative for trimming inches from your waist and belly – while still allowing you to breathe.
Trick #2: Try a Tummy-Minimizing Peplum
Peplums are a fantastic clothing style for crossdressers and MTF transgender women, as they are both feminine and flattering.
A peplum is a short overskirt attached at the waistline of a top, dress, or jacket that’s perfect for covering a full belly.
And thanks to the fit-and-flare styling, a peplum will also give you that sexy hourglass shape.
Trick #3: Avoid Bottoms That Sit Too Far Above or Below Your Waistline
If you’re dealing with a larger belly, it’s important to consider the placement of your skirt or pants’ waistband. Ideally, the waistband should sit just below your belly button.
- If the waistband is too high, it can create the appearance of your stomach bulging out from below.
- On the other hand, if the waistband is too low, it can lead to that undesirable “muffin top” look.
Trick #4: Wear a Light Colored Jacket Over a Dark Top
To minimize the appearance of a larger tummy, consider wearing a light-colored jacket over a dark top.
The jacket acts as a cover-up, while the dark color underneath helps your belly blend into the background.
For optimal results, opt for a jacket that has some structure to it. Princess seams, in particular, are a feminine and flattering feature to look for.
Trick #5: Downplay Belly Rolls With a Ruched Top
Ruching, which refers to fabric that is gathered along the seam line, is an excellent choice for hiding a larger belly.
Unlike flat fabrics that tend to highlight every bulge, ruching helps conceal what’s underneath – including those unwanted belly rolls.
Trick #6: Just Say “NO” to Tight Clothes
If your belly is your trouble spot, it’s important to steer clear of wearing overly tight clothing.
Clothes that are too tight (including bras and panties) will dig in and create unsightly bulges – calling even more attention to these areas.
Trick #7: Avoid Oversized Clothes
Just as you should avoid clothes that are too tight, neither do you want to wear clothes that are too loose.
Trying to hide a big belly under an oversized top just makes you look bigger. The key is to opt for clothing that gracefully skims your midsection instead of drowning it.
In conclusion
Don’t worry if your belly is a bit of a concern. The good news is, there are plenty of ways to minimize it and achieve that ideal hip-to-waist ratio.
What really matters is feeling self-assured as a crossdresser or transgender woman, and the right outfit can make all the difference!

I would say my eyes would be my best feminine feature. However I also believe that my general appearance is an asset as I do not have a strong male look, meaning normal beard, no huge eyebrows, no scars or imperfections. Haven’t been out much yet, however one time I got a compliment on my outfit, sure made me feel great.
How did you make your cream would love to try it
I just exercise on a regular basis which has helped to lose a bit of weight (not enough for my liking). Couple of months ago, I went clothes shopping with a young lady who does a escorted shopping for us girls and she has helped me a lot with sizing and given me an idea of what clothes I can buy.
As for body parts, I think my legs are my best bits judging from comments I was getting at people who have seen my profile pictures on TvChix.com and similar sites.
According to it is breasts that is best asset of laldy or a cross dresser. The first look of man concentrates on the breast of a lady. A bountiful and well kept breasts are always a matter of good attraction for any lady or cross dresser.
I have plumped for breasts as being my best asset. Just before Christmas some friends teased when I was telling them about growing breasts. I shall be 83 this year and after five months of using the home made Fenugreek cream and tea I now have a 36 inch ‘B’ cup frontage. This has amazed my proper feminine friends (and me, too!) but it feels so great to see them filling my bra. Twice a day massage (200 times) and two cups of Bustea tea a day. Perseverance added as an essential.
Positive attitude and a warm smile

Aloha Heather; Gosh! I posted that quite awhile ago. Thanks for the compliment. Doing sefiies helps reinforce the look, that I was trying to get. Lots of experiments with makeup and wigs. Using my own hair now. Thank goodness for that. Living in the tropics I want to have a cool head! Hope you have a great weekend.
It doesn’t work for all clothes, for instance, formal wear and figure hugging garments, but I sometimes wear items two or even three sizes larger than usual, because if done carefully and tastefully, it can be quite effective, and fun, at making you appear slim and petite. I love when people say “You look great. Have you lost weight?” I don’t know if it’s for everybody, maybe it’s just me. But I like it.
looking at my old picture you might say it’s my legs but now I include my breast as one of my best assets. If someone is in doubt my breast say this is who I am.

In my view the eyes have much to convey. The feminine eyes and feminine looks are different. They are peerless. Just a mere look of a woman is enough to attract hundred men.
Your eyes are expressive…you look nice in that sari.
