Do you love wearing dresses? I sure hope you do! There’s nothing quite as enjoyable as putting on a sexy, feminine dress.
With so many choices available, from mini dresses to gowns, you might be wondering which dress styles are best for crossdressers and trans women.
The key is to choose a dress that both flatters and feminizes your figure – while making you feel great!
In this blog post, I’ll share my top 5 dress picks for crossdressers and transgender women.
1. Empire Waist Dress
Empire waist dresses feature a raised waistline that falls just below the bust. This style is perfect for concealing a fuller midsection while elongating the look of the legs.
2. Cinched Waist Dress
A classic, feminine style, cinched waist dresses add fullness around the hips while defining the look of the waist.
3. Peplum Dress
A peplum is a short, gathered “overskirt” attached to the waist of a garment. It’s one of my favorite dresses for crossdressers and transgender women because it creates instant, flattering curves.
4. Wrap Dress
Another one of my favorites, the wrap dress is universally flattering. The plunging neckline helps slim the look of the torso while the tie enhances your waistline.
5. Mini Dress
Crossdressers and transgender women tend to have gorgeous legs. It’d be a crime not to flaunt them in short dresses – at least every now and then! As long as you choose a tasteful style, there’s no “age limit” to wearing a mini dress.
Let’s see YOUR best dress!
Of course, your dress options are endless and these 5 styles are only the beginning. A girl can never have too many dresses!

Being an Indian, I have grown up loving the saree, the traditional Indian femme attire. It’s my epitome of femininity. Blouse and saree make fill me with joy.

The traditional Indian feminine attire is the saree. I have grown up watching my mom in saree and I have myself developed love for the 6 yards cloth. The saree is my epitome of femininity. This is one my favourite sarees.
Very pretty.
Hi – here is one of my favorite summer dresses. I bought this at Macy’s and have had a lot nice comments on it. The sales ladies there were so nice! Just treated me like any other lady out shopping! By the way, I’m 74, do you think it okay for my age? Hugs, Suzy
Run nice in that dress, Suzy. And no, 74 is not too old. Take a look below at my picture. I was 70 when this picture was taken, and I am 79 now, and trying to dress nice for my age, and still blend in.
I love your dress Aimee! Looks great on you! Us older ladies need to stick together! I find getting older just makes me more feminine! Hugs, Suzy
Needing to return to guy mode, my dresses need long sleeves…and…high collars, turtle necks to hide the Adam’s apple. These are really hard to find in my size. Mostly have to stick with blouses (or sweaters) and skirts.
