There’s nothing like treating your female self to a new piece of lingerie.
While everybody loves a bargain, some things are worth spending a bit more on. Quality items tend to fit better, last longer, and make you look amazing. Who doesn’t want that from their lingerie?
That’s why in this post, I share 5 transgender / crossdressing lingerie items worth the splurge. Read on to learn more!
1. High Quality Pantyhose
Is there a difference between drugstore pantyhose and higher end department store brands like Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, and Wolford?
Yes!
Quality hosiery looks and feels more luxurious – and most importantly, it lasts longer. Unlike cheap pantyhose that runs within a day, quality hosiery should last you for many wearings.
2. Perfectly-Fitted Hip And Butt Pads
Nothing says “woman” like a shapely lower body. these options can help you create instant lower body curves:
- Padded panties – Padded panties are made with built-in butt and hip padding to add fullness to the lower body.
- Removable hip and butt pads – Alternatively, you can use removable hip and butt pads that adhere to the body with adhesive.
3. Silk Pajamas
There’s nothing like the feel of real silk. I believe every girl (including you!) should have genuine silk pajamas in her collection.
Whether it’s a slinky nightgown or a classic pajama pant set, slip on one of these babies and feel the cares of the day melt away.
4. Pocket Bra
If you wear breast forms, it’s worth investing in a pocket bra built to hold your breast forms. A pocket bra will keep the forms secure and properly positioned.
I particularly like the TRANSFORM See-Thru Bra. At $35, it may cost a bit more than bargain bras, but it’s well worth it.
5. A Luxurious Robe
A silk or satin robe is a classic boudoir piece that will make you feel ultra feminine.
While you don’t have to break the bank, it’s worth treating yourself to the best you can afford. Your robe should last for years, so look for a high quality piece with luxurious fabric and trimmings.

Only recently crossed dressed. Liengire is my thing. It’s what inspired me, seeing university friends wearing size 6 and 8s I just had to try.
I’m glad I did. Lacy panties, frilly one pieces, maid out from Ann summers.
Where do I start? I love wearing both padded and unpadded bras, push up, balcony, demi, underwired…soft cup…bralette……I have full B cup breasts from hormones so all types of bra work. Stockings…both the stay up and gartered varieties…plus a garter belt. Panties…I have dozens…and not one pair is cotton. Girdles…padded and unpadded….open bottom for skirts and dresses and panty/brief for jeans and pants. Corsets…takes 4 inches off my waist, adds to both breasts and hips. Shoes…4 inch heels…can’t manage anything taller. Camisoles…satin…tap panties to match….satin. Nighties…baby dolls and long gowns…satin, silk and lace. Matching robe…short and long. Women’s jeans…fave is Faded Glory ultimate boot cut. Boy jeans look ridiculous now. My cis female gf loves buying me little gifts of naughty things to wear….most recent was a pearl double strand thong. Half a dozen different perfumes. Being a girl really is so much better.

I love to go to the shops and shop for lingerie. As I’m into my transition, it excites me to do those things I’ve always dreamed of doing. I especially like wearing my frilly panties and bras during the day and my favorite gowns and sexy lingerie at night. I especially enjoy my breasts pushing through my nighties to show my true femininity. I really enjoy being a total woman at last!
Dearest Lucille: On your list the sheer, silky pantyhose I have a real nice selection, colors from: coffee, beige, white, black & Blue. Most sheer toe & some reinforced toe.The pocket bra, I purchased one in white from Transformation. The foam padded panties I purchased: I recommend a brand called “Rego” pro’s at making this item. Since January 2018, with my spouse’s “okay”, I now have 100% female clothing in my 4 dresser drawers. Slim top drawer is pantyhose, lace-top thigh highs, and stockings that need garters. Mid-size 2nd drawer has 4 camisoles, 3 half slips, 2 full slips, 2 nighties. Deep 3rd drawer has 3 straw baskets – two for more than 70 panties and one for my 8 bras. Deep bottom drawer has 50+ socks, some knee-high hose, jogging tops, 2 sports bras, 2 work-out leggings, 3 casual wear leggings, and 2 workout short-shorts. My “5 favorite lingerie”? Super stretch-lacy white padded push-up bra, satin bow between cups, extra wide 3-hook lace back band. Pastel peach 100% silk slip-nightie lots of lace accents, 4″ lace hemline at knee, satin spaghetti straps. Buffalo Exchange vintage ’60s satin garter belt in pastel blush baby-blue, tiny pearl and satin bow accents, 4 hooks in back. Super lacy antique-ivory stretch-rayon clingy camisole designed to be worn under thin-sheer crepe/nylon airy blouses, shows thru lovely “feminine” signal front back shoulders (with matching half slip 3″ lacy hemline). And finally, my favorite stretch lace cheekster panties with shiny nylon panel in front (waist to g-spot) – one each in light pink, bright red, black, and teal. So fun to have on gorgeous lingerie (my secret) underneath average basic dress or skirt & blouse. So fun! So feminine!
Sounds like your wife really rocks, wish more wives were like that, mine was for a lot of years but never fully understood my desires.
Cathy, it was great to see that you have slips and half slips. I thought I was the only one left. I love putting my full slip on pver my bra, sometimes 2 or 3. They feel tight on my body and keeps me conscious of what a girl I am. The half slips are tight around my legs and I can feel them when I walk. Love Sharon
Hi Sharon, I got started in the 1960s with my 2 older sisters dressing me and our younger sister in their old clothes that no longer fit. Half and full slips were mainstays under all those dresses I wore. Our mother and auntie also wore slips under all their everyday outfits, and I often did the hand-washing and soaking in Woolite of all the panties, bras, slips, and hose in that house of 2 women, me and 3 sisters. By 1970 I fit into their mid-late 60s clothes and always loved their full and half slips as I moved into sheath dresses that zipped up in back, or blouses with skirts. The rest oft he ’70s and ’80s were also great seasons for slips and camisoles under dresses and blouses with skirts. So sad as the ’90s moved away from slips and also went to bare legs (no hose, no stockings, no tights). The last few years have a slight comeback of lingerie under clothes, more leg-coverings, but still not so many slips. I’m amazed at how many gals I know simply put on their bra and panties, then slide into their dress for work, or parties/weddings/showers. Our mother and auntie always talked about first, the slip saves your dresses and skirts/blouses from the inside (stains, sweat, body odor) and you can always wash them while clothes stay fresh. And second, the lovely “feel” underneath clothes to have that extra layer of nylon, satin, silk, polyester that felt so nice and the clothes laid so much better over them. So I’m a bit old fashioned in still dressing that way, but I will say, more and more I meet women in professional settings (conferences, real estate, banquets, libraries, trade shows) who are in their late 30s or early 40s and they comment about how much they like seeing some lacy trim and extra straps showing from under my sheer blouse, or clingy knit top, or thin rayon dress – and they’ll say things like “I’m really trying to find those underthings for my outifts, they look so nice and must feel so good to wear”.
Your stocked lady
