Do you want to know how to crossdress or enhance your appearance as a transgender woman in the winter season? If so, you’re in the right place.
While winter can be a great time to express your female side, it presents some unique challenges. After all, it’s hard to look your best when you’re bundled in layers!
The good news is that you can still look sexy and feminine despite the cold.
In this blog post, I share 4 easy ways to feminize your winter look, so you can look stunning all season long.
1. Wear a Shape-Enhancing Coat
Your coat often is the first thing people notice when it’s cold. In fact, it might be the only thing they see you in, so it’s an important piece in your feminine wardrobe.
Here are some dos and don’ts to consider:
- DON’T add unnecessary bulk with a puffy or oversized coat.
- DO try a belted coat to shape your waist.
- DON’T wear double breasted coats if you have a wide chest. Single breasted styles are more slimming.
- DO look for coats with princess seams or pleats and gathers around the hips to feminize your shape.
2. Have Fun with Stockings
Winter is the perfect time to show off your legs in tights, pantyhose, and stockings.
There are so many options for making a fashion statement, so be bold and play with bright colors, fun prints, and sexy textures. Ribbed and cable knit tights look especially cute this time of year.
3. Go for Bright Colors
Don’t blend in with the gray, dreary weather. A great way to stand out is to wear bright colors.
Instead of a basic black winter coat, why not try something fun? Coats come in a rainbow of colors these days and range from pastels to jewel tones.
If a neutral coat is more your style, you can still add a touch of bold color with your scarf, hat, and gloves.
4. Choose the Right Boots
Wearing cute boots is the best part about cold weather!
But if you’re walking on ice and slush, heels can be a nightmare. This doesn’t mean you must resort to chunky, unattractive snow boots though.
Instead, look for boots with a wedge heel. The height of the heel adds sex appeal, while a wedge sole gives you traction so you don’t slip.
Let’s see your winter look!
As you can see, there are many ways to add a touch of femininity to your cold weather wardrobe.

My summertime look .. but now I just wear a black coat in winter ..
Living in Florida I wear a light jacket on cooler mornings with my thigh high stockings under a knee length skirt I usually wear a high collar top with three quarter length sleeves or short sleeves. Then when I remove the jacket I’m still looking feminine and comfortable while I’m at work or out shopping
Oh, Girls, I’m getting so blabby, posting again! But. I would like to stress a few really helpful items. You can hugely glamorize yourselves with all the different scarves and other wraps there are. I bet I don’t even need to go into details. Also, hats not only keep you warm, they can work miracles with your appearance. There’s a whole universe of choices, and ways to wear them, and you can have great fun shopping for them! I feel guiltily smug now, to brag about some of the envy my hats have generated.
I usually wear warm turtlenecks and a vest when out doing errands.
It was very fun to find in this blog theme my earlier post as Rita 7 years ago. So much has passed by! I love Italian clothes as early but now my favorite winter coat is Ellen Tracy very warm coat 10 inches longer than knees with a black-brown fox natural collar. Under a coat I usually wear long sweater-dresses ( I have 12) or dresses with high collars because I don’t like scarves. And one of my favorite winter dress is midi high collar printed dress of emerald and gold and inside fabric of the dress is cutted fur. Much more less than eralier i wear now jeans. Instead of it I prefer warm printed leggins and my favorite is puma printed leggins. As a boots I prefer soft and and light 2-inches heels with natural fur inside. So as gloves. I have absolutely small female hands and never wore male gloves even before transition.
That is the way I dress. A girl dont have to wear a dress just to be feminine. I too wear skinny girl jeans with a sweater and flats that are very comfortable when on my feet for a day.
I wear dresses in every season because I can’t live without them. I live 24/7 as female and it’s my choise of the free wii after DNA analysis which shown 47XXY. But I have known about it only last year when I was fifty. I couldn’t understand why female herbs were so efeective for me in my HRT. Now I know the secret. A dress is a miracle in the world of clothes. You needn’t to look for a coincidence between blouse and skirt or jeans. You only put on a dress and you are ready to go. As I remember jeans were invented by Austrian taylor Levi Strauss who lived in California and it was in 1843. My favorite historical time and place is Victorian England when women were women and wore beautiful dresses till floor and their pretty heads haven’t known something about jeans. In this pic I am in maid Victorian dress. And I love this outfit.
One of my favorite winter outfits.
It’d be my favorite too if I looked that good in it!
…and you look stunning!
Good Day Ladies
I love the blog, as always. I love wearing my black stockings with suspender belt. I find the idea of a pink coat exciting, and I do intend to add this to my wardrobe. Any recommendations where I can obtain a pair of boots ( with wedge) to fit a UK Size 10 (or 11) foot, please? Thank you
My winter look. Tall boots and tights and a hooded peacoat.
