Photos are a great way to share your female self with the world. And thanks to selfie apps and photo filters, it’s easier to look great than ever before.
Now, am I saying you should deceive people with heavily edited photos? Not at all!
However, photographers and celebrities have been retouching photos since the beginning of time…
There’s no reason why you can’t show yourself in the best light – especially if you don’t go overboard with the edits.
In this post, created specifically for transgender women and crossdressers, I share my top 5 MTF selfie apps and feminization photo editors guaranteed to make you look amazing.
Note that all of these apps offer free and full (paid) versions. While the paid versions will unlock more features, you can get plenty of mileage from the free versions as well.

I am surprised the YouCam Makeup Self Editor did not get at least an honorable mention: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyberlink.youcammakeup …. It’s one of my faves. The You Cam app has a very same mirror illusion that the Perfect 365 has. The You Cam has very large variety of makeup looks Some of those looks might tickle your funny bone. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1–xpo9zvaEZuroqTuICHyT4W8cqL2um3/view?usp=drivesdk … and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cTWOV3F2XdVPHu58IP5QMRxDGXw66z4m/view?usp=drivesdk …
YouCam does not seem to have any kind of a virtual wig selection. It does have a pretty good selection of virtual hair colors that you can try on your own male hairstyle with the virtual makeup. Price definitely not bad. I am paying $24.99 a year. I’m thinking Remer the monthly price to be $2.49. No one time purchase that I could remember. It is worth checking out.
I used The Faceapp gender swap tool. I honestly don’t know how accurate it is but I love the changes
i use Face App too… i love how it helps me look a little more femme in my pictures… (apparently it is a very close approximation of what you would look like 2 years into Hormone Therapy) if that is true… where do i sign up? 🙂 x Nawty kisses from Candace x x x
P.S. you are all Beautiful, and i wish you all the very best this world has to offer x x x
r ur boobs real or did u add them, if u did can u tell me how?
I use FaceApp. This app is not really a photo editor like the ones listed. This is a transform tool, and the app does all the work. I really like the app and paid for the lifetime license because it provides a good idea of what we can look like after transition. If the rumors I’ve read are true, the app assumes 2 yrs. of HRT, minimal facial feminization, hair implants and good makeup. Regardless, the results are amazing. The pic I have uploaded is my favorite, it is my inspiration and the goal I am reaching for. This is the face I was always meant to have.
For normal photo touch ups, I export all my pics to my laptop and use Gimp.
Hello, I wrote an article on photo editing for the new age some time ago, it was based on the FaceApp editor, this app uses an online AI to do face modifications. The article is way too big to post here however the photo that went with it was my year of efforts playing around with the app. All the photos are of me, not all of them did I use the app filter.
FaceApp and YouCam Makeup
If I take a picture of myself inside my apartment, I always have a problem with the lighting, so I’m not afraid to use filters. However, I’ve never tried to “adjust” my appearance any more than that. Still, it might be interesting to see if I can look like a femme fatale. 🙂
In the 21st century, my bank account is essentially my wallet, and allowing automatic payments is essentially allowing someone to reach in my wallet and help themselves to some of MY money. Also, past experience tells me that there’s nothing stopping someone from increasing their price without bothering to tell you. Luckily for me, there are several programs that I cn pay fro upfront and be done with it!
I wouldn’t use them I already look amazing getting the right picture taken. The pictures are my befor and after pictures of my transition. There unedited the first was my before pictures, and the second is my after picture almost 11 months after my gender Confirming surgery.
Christy I am soooooo jealous of you.
I long to get on female hormones and reshape.
Good luck to you in all you do.
Oh and you look fabulous
