Looking your best as a crossdresser or transgender woman is all about showcasing your most attractive features – whether it’s your stunning legs, lovely bust, or flawless derriere.
However, this doesn’t mean squeezing into the skimpiest outfit you can find. Class and style are the name of the game.
So, how do you flaunt your best feminine assets in a tasteful way? Let’s explore some easy and elegant tips for your MTF transformation or transition.
Gorgeous Legs? Here’s How to Flaunt Them
1. Choose the right skirt length
Experiment with skirt lengths to discover what flatters your legs best. Generally, a length that’s 1-2 inches above or below the knee works well.
Here’s a simple test for finding the best skirt length for your body:
- Stand in front of a mirror wearing the shoes you typically pair with skirts or dresses.
- Take a bath towel and hold it horizontally in front of your legs, simulating a skirt.
- Raise and lower the towel and observe which length makes your legs look best.
2. Opt for pantyhose
Although pantyhose isn’t as popular as it used to be, hosiery adds polish and definition to the legs. It’s also a great way to cover up imperfections.
The secret is to wear the sheerest pantyhose you can find for a sexy, modern look.
3. Try D’orsay pumps
The D’Orsay is a shoe style where the sides are cut away to reveal the arch of the foot. This is an elegant shoe style that’s perfect for showing off beautiful legs.
While high heels give your legs maximum definition, the D’Orsay is also flattering in flats and low pumps.
Beautiful Breasts? Show Them Off Gracefully
1. Go for deep “V” necklines
The easiest way to show off beautiful breasts is to wear a low cut top. V-neck tops are especially flattering.
But how low is too low? A good rule of thumb is to show off 20%-40% of your bust. This gives you sex appeal, while keeping it classy.
2. Find tops that frame your breasts
Another flattering option is to wear tops that frame your breasts. Consider halter tops or those with shirring around the bust.
The more defined the bust area, the more your assets will stand out.
3. Apply some shimmer powder
A final way to make your bust pop is to apply a bit of shimmer powder to the visible part of the breasts. This highlights the breasts, similar to the way eyeshadow highlights the eyes.
Opt for subtle shimmer powders like Wet N Wild MegaGlo or e.l.f. Cosmetics Baked Highlighter (both inexpensive drugstore finds!) for a natural glow.
All About That Booty? Highlight It Flawlessly
1. Wear skirts or dresses with ruching in the back
Ruching adds volume to your curves and emphasizes your butt. Look for bottoms with gathering along the seam line. It’s an easy way to enhance your derriere.
2. Look for bottoms with a sweetheart or “V” shaped back yoke
A yoke is a piece of fabric located beneath the waistband of a skirt or pants. Its shape significantly influences your butt’s appearance.
Opt for sweet heart or “v” shaped yokes for a flattering and feminine look. Avoid straight or wide yokes, as these can make your bottom appear square.
3. Try butt-enhancing shapewear
Even if you are already blessed with a beautiful behind, the right shapewear can give you added oomph under your clothes. Think of it like a push-up bra for your behind.

I think my legs are my best asset I do like seeing them in hosiery I also think my near hourglass figure is quite an asset and I haven’t even started improving it yet my bust is also an asset and I haven’t even started improving it yet either I think that once I’ve had some time to improve a few areas I will be feeling quite feminine and mysterious I have a ways to go still but I’ve been practicing my whole life for this and I will be successful in my opinion
Before I lost all my weight via gastric bypass surgery my best features were my cleavage and face. Neither are an asset today. My physical appearance no longer is an attractant. With 32k I could have everything from the waist up fixed…. but unless a fairy Godmother steps in its not going to happen.
So, a close inventory has revealed to me that my best feature is………. my personality.
It takes a lot more work to showcase it….. people have to spend time interacting with me to discover it. But it is what I have to work with. Otherwise, all I could say would be “I don’t HAVE a ‘best feature”…. and a girl can’t get by with that kind of attitude.
I am short 5 foot 5, I have narrow shoulders, small hands, feet and was blessed with a nice curvy butt.
What do you think?

I HAD to vote legs. The first time I ever cross dressed was to pay in the orchestra for Cabaret in a local theater production. I got so many compliments on my legs and feet that I even got used to it, and quit blushing!
The part about that I find really strange is for a male, I am not tall – only 5’8″. And because I am a male, I wear size 16 dresses, tops and slacks. (I can get into a 14 pair of jeans, but they really are too tight across the butt in most brands, and look trashy.) So I don’t consider that my legs are exceptionally long, or slim; certainly not like my girlfriend’s. She is in her early seventies now, but when she was younger, she was a leg model for Hanes. (Her mother was a London high fashion model, and was the same measurements as Princess Margaret, so used to model all her gowns before she purchased them. She has several black and white photos of her mother in beautiful gowns, taken by Richard Avedon.)
Incidentally, I never wear pantyhose. I wear either thigh-highs (or “hold-ups”, if you’re speaking British English) or stockings with a suspender belt. Either one is vastly more comfortable than pantyhose. As my wife used to complain, “The darned waist just keeps getting tighter and tighter all day long!” LOL I love Mytights.com. They deliver quickly, and the sales people are knowledgeable, helpful, and (most importantly) understanding.

Lucille & your team,
What an opportunity; for some years I have called myself Diane. Why? because the feeling, that I want to be a girl becomes overpowering:to the extent now, of going out in an ‘en-femme’ fashion, even.I once belonged to a TV/TS, club, and won a prize at a ‘Ball’ as a ballerina.A pair of silver sandals. That’s my story.Love Diane. It’s good to know, I am not alone.
Hi there
I am currently transitioning from male to female , I am 53. I am looking for hip and bottom padding with good supported underwear that are foam? I have some that are ok in jeans but not big enough pads to really make a difference in dresses etc. can you advise please?

In the eye area, one can improve their feminine image by having your eye brows shaped/sculpted. Since most people on that initial glance look at your face, having well shaped eye brows is a major plus! It’s not expensive to have done and it feels great!
Your brows look good Dani.
One thing needs doing for me, I’ve got eye brows
like Abraham Lincoln (real bushy).
