In fact, I say you aren’t fully dressed without a swipe of lipstick or lip gloss! This applies to everyone, including crossdressers and trans women.
Whether you like a subtle clear lip or a bold red pout, your favorite lip color reveals a lot about your feminine style.

Red lipstick is sexy, classic, and bold. It projects confidence and self-assurance.

Bright Pink = Bubbly

This is a bold, fun shade that projects playfulness. Wear bright pink lipstick if you want to be the proverbial life of the party.
Soft Pink = Feminine
Soft pink is a delicate, feminine lipstick shade. Choose this color if you’re the romantic type and want to look soft, sweet, and girly.
Mauve or Russet = Mysterious
Mauve and russet are muted lipstick shades with purple or brown undertones.
These understated colors are perfect if you want to appear mysterious, sophisticated, and intelligent.
Burgundy or Berry = Seductive
Burgundy and berry are deep, rich lip colors for those who aren’t afraid to make a statement.
They signal confidence and boldness, but with more seriousness than pure red or bright pink. Think sexy, seductive, and a bit mysterious.
Coral = Friendly
Coral is a beautiful peachy color with undertones of pink and orange. It’s a happy color that’s perfect for friendly, bubbly personalities.
Wear coral lipstick if you want to give off positive, optimistic vibes.
Nude = Warm
Nude lips are understated and classic. They give off a warm and caring vibe.
Nude lipstick is soft and feminine, but projects more seriousness than light pink lipstick.
Lip Gloss = Fun
Glossy lips, whether clear or with a hint of color, show off a fun personality that loves the spotlight.
Wear lip gloss if you want to give off a youthful vibe with a touch of glitz and glamour.
Lip Balm = No-nonsense
Maybe you don’t wear lipstick or lip gloss at all.
If bare lips or lip balm are your “colors” of choice, you show that you want to be taken seriously. You are no-nonsense, practical, and minimalistic.

It has to be red. Even though I am new to wearing makeup. Still learning how to apply the lipstick to show of my lips to their fullness. But red, it makes me feel so sexy

Your choice of lipstick is also influenced by your skin color and the base color of your lips. I love red on OTHER women but it looks horrible on me, and pink simply can’t cover the darker tone of my lips. A mauve or russet tone works a lot better on my face.
Very true, Shirley! I personally can’t wear mauve or russet, which is a shame because I love those colors.
The best thing about red and it’s sisters is that many of us girls don’t have the full lips cis women usually do. Subtle colors like pink and nude make it difficult to push color outside the lip line. Red can cover your real lip line and enhance your lips.
I have to agree with all you sexy girls. Red is definitely a fav. Only, I use a stain instead of traditional lipstick. Sometimes, depending on mood and situation. I use a lip plumping gloss with bright pink sparkles. Makes me feel/look more sexy, fun, & adventurous. Not to mention proud & confident. Don’t forget to smile ladies , it looks good on you either way.
I usually go with a shade of Red. I have a really Dark Red, burgundy, that have drawn many compliments. I sometimes apply with a “lip brush “. This gives me a bit more control of application.
Love dolling up and going out with girlfriends and the lipstick says a lot of who we are!

Always red, and red nails too. For some reason, that just screams woman at me. Even cisgendered women seem more womanly to me with red lips and nails.
