Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!

I”ve pretty much been everywhere en femme. Back in ’95 I had thought about Flying While Dressed but decided against it. It turned out to be a good move as I was stranded several hours at the airport. I now make sure that I dress comfortably no matter where I am. I grew out my hair in ’01 and my ID matched my presentation whether I was in male or female mode. In the last 5-7 years I’ve flown en femme a few times without incident. I had been told that the TSA would not allow silicone breast forms but I never had a problem. Looking alike in either mode has led to some amusing incidents. One time at the airport the ID checker looked at my ticket and drivers license and asked if my “husband” was going to accompany me. (I was in male mode at the time) She did a double take and said “Oh, sorry…never mind,” when she realized I wasn’t a female despite my long hair. I almost burst out laughing, thanked her and walked through.
I was fully dressed, with light appolicatiohn of make-up, and had just backed into my driveway when a police car blocked the
drive, and the officer asked me to step out of my car and ask-ed if I had driven at a certain area and did I have a loud mufler on my car as there was complaints about a loud car. I
atarted the car to prove that I did not have a loud mufler, and the policeman then asked “Why are you dressed like that?” and I answered that I was practicing for Halloween, (which was about one week away). He then left and I went into the house and spent an hour calming my nerves, and trying to re-lax to where my heart rate was normal again. It took some-time to work up the nerve to go out ‘dressed’ again.
