Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!
Love,
Lucille

I am not passable so never other than from the neck down when I travel in my vehicle on long business trips. I always have panties and bra on under my boring male clothes however when I travel even on my client appointments.
I have travelled more and more en femme in recent years. Stated with driving and then to taxis, trains and eventually planes (no turning back with the last one). I always dress to blend in as others on here have mentioned, it is so important I think both for acceptance and fro our community.
So far this year I have flown on 10 flights, mostly in Europe but some in the US including 2 long haul flights from the US home to Europe. Despite my male passport and ID there have not been any real problems. Officials sometimes look confused and it has been suggested I get another passport picture, but treating officials respectfully seems to get same in return.
I have never travelled into the US en femme although I would like to. TSA have always been easy to deal with but I am not so sure about US Customs and Immigration. My male persona has trusted traveller status which avoids some face time with officials but not entirely. I have a great opportunity coming up but not decided if this is too much of a risk as yet! Wish me luck……..
In recent years have had holidays in various parts of Australia as a woman (leaving all my male clothes at home) I have flown by plane interstate and driven from Sydney to Brisbane.
I am out dessed as a woman several days each month.
Me in Brisbane, outside the Museum. I spotted another transwoman there.
I in uk, and travel en femme occasionally on buses and rail and in my own car and the first time i was terrified buy recently I have gained more confidence and go out to cafes and places like that for hours on end and now go to hotels and guest houses and i so enjoy it, but have yet to try flying. If i go to a hotel i like to wear a skirt suit with heels.
Iam leaving for a extensive trip from sc to upstate ny Iam going entirely en fem , I plan on 3 gas stops a1 food stop. I stand 6ft 4 in my heels, I don,t want to stand out too much, but my 48 breasts in a c-thru blouse may cause some stir, I’ll write when I get back
Have not flown dressed since 9/11, going to San Juan July 11th. Will give update on return
I travelled crossdressed for the first time last year. I live in New Zealand and I did it on a domestic flight. I booked a hotel room near the airport in my home town and transformed there. Once I was dressed I had no way out at I won’t have any of my male clothes with me. Like many comments before its best to not over dress so I had a simple top, skirt, heels, wig and make up. I booked the tickets under my male name but luckily they never check your ID on domestic flights generally. I was a little nervous my underwire bra might set off the metal detectors but it didn’t. I sat next to an old couple they never made any conversation. Once I arrived at my destination I checked into the hotel again under my male name without any issues. I crossdressed for the rest of the trip too it is very liberating when I’m crossdressed, sure some people look at you etc but most are polite and men let you on the bus first etc. I’d love to travel en femme again.
I have flown fem many times. Always wearing a skirt & heels. I traveled so much that the TSA agents would tell me that they missed seeing me when I didn’t travel for a week. Travel with confidence, keep smiling, and don’t hold up the security line taking a long time unbuckling your heels.
