Have you ever felt like it might be too late to begin crossdressing or embark on your male to female transition?
If so, I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to pursue your feminine dreams!
Regardless of your age or circumstances, there’s no better time than NOW to fully embrace your inner woman.
In this blog post, we’ll explore 7 reasons why it’s not too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Let’s get started!
1. There Are More Positive Transgender Role Models Than Ever Before
In today’s world, there are more positive trans role models than ever before.
From Janet Mock, transgender author and advocate, to Danica Roem, the first transgender woman to win a state seat, now is the perfect time join these role models in raising awareness.
2. With Age Comes Wisdom and Experience
While we might all wish to be forever young, age brings with it valuable wisdom and experience.
Your male to female journey can benefit greatly from the insights and knowledge that come with time.
3. 50 is the New 30 and 70 is the New 50
Despite our youth-obsessed society, there are many fabulous female icons in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond who prove that age is only a number.
Candis Cayne, Alexandra Billings, Tracey Norman, and many other trans celebrities prove that beauty and femininity have no expiration date.
4. You Care Less About What Others Think
As you grow older, you tend to care less about other people’s opinions. And that is a beautiful thing!
Spending less time worrying about what people think of you can definitely enhance your MTF journey.
5. These Pioneers Prove it’s Never Too Late to Reinvent Yourself
Countless late bloomers have achieved remarkable success by starting over later in life. Here are examples of transgender women who reinvented themselves after age 50:
- Rachel Levine, who serves as the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, began her transition when she was 54.
- Jennifer Pritzker, notable for being the first transgender billionaire, came out as transgender at age 63.
- Caitlyn Jenner, American media personality and former Olympic gold medal-winning athlete, came out as transgender at the age of 65.
6. It’s Better to Dare Than Have Regrets
When you reflect on your life one day, would you rather look back on a life that was lived to the fullest, even if it ruffled a few feathers, or be filled with regrets?
The choice to embrace your true self is yours to make TODAY.
7. There are More Resources Than Ever Before
Today, there is a wealth of resources available, including transgender and crossdressing support groups, websites, books, and specialized products and procedures.
These resources can go a long way in supporting your feminine transformation or transition.
In conclusion
I hope this post has convinced you that it’s never too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Now is the perfect time to pursue your feminine dreams, whatever they may be.

I want to fully transmission from male to female. I am 44 years old. All I want is for my outside to match who I am inside. For years I have wanted SRS but I am still so scared to come out to my family. Any advice anyone could give would be so helpful!
After 4 failed marriages and the age 72 it was time for me to be me. I started slow-panties, then cross dressed in private. Publicly I started wearing blouse, women’s jeans, boots with heels. As I was doing this, I found that for the first tie in my life I was doing what I wanted to do and was happy. I started to crossdress full time, found a church that accepted me as me. At times I wish I had done this 40 years ago but then again this transformation would not be so exciting, fun and wonderful. I went from a grumpy old man to pleasant, happy person.
Jackie :
What a story! !
You have a rich history, needs to be written down for the other “You ” out there.
I am 71YO & can relate. ..how am I doing? As you know it gets tougher every year.
Enjoy being You! T.J.
TJ you look great. I am 67 and just now starting to be myself. You are an inspiration/
Dear Lucile
I am eternally grateful for your”Flat to Femme” programe, which I started about 9 years ago with great success. I am going to be 87 years old in two weeks, and have been on Estrogen patches and testosterone blockers since I retired 5 years ago. I have transitioned (without surgery, unfortunstely) legally changed my name and live in harmony with my wonderful wife of 45 years It is never too late – you only live once!
I’d like to say that now I’m very happy ’cause I decided to tell all my friends and family that I’m a transgender woman. I’m changing my name and having a female identity 24 hours/day. Thought it would never happen. I feel now I’m a real person!
I’m rapidly heading towards the ripe old age of 76, but I still enjoy dressing and getting out. I do tend to restrict my outdoor excursions to parties and local clubs where I can still dress in ‘younger” clothes which I prefer. Most of the people who know me actually thought I was in my 50’s until I recently announced my actual age. Although it would be lovely to be much younger, I can’t change my age and I’m happy to be doing what I do.
You look Fabulous! As a 71 yo, I know what I speak. ..we can relate to what we go thru, all the time. Glad you are Being You! T.J.
You go grl love the look and i am in ageless beauty club also smile
Seconding everything here. I started venturing out at 49 and realized the big bad world wasn’t as awful as I expected. I’ll never “pass” close-up either, but I worked hard on the look, voice, and mannerisms and shoot for acceptability. It seems good enough for others, and a has meant a better new life for me.
I am a bi-sexual cross dresser and I will start taking Swanson’s Bovine Ovary for breast development. I have researched this and the only side effect is bigger boobs. WOW. I will work on my voice and walk so when I go out as Geri, no one will notice. I will be this classy tall older broad. Thank you for your posts. Geri
Geri, have you read ALL the reviews? Most of the genuine ones I’ve read say that growth is very slow and possibly non-existant. Having worked on Lucille’s “FLab to Fem” program over the years, I can honestly say I can’t tell whether it’s the pills or the exercises that gave me results. I’m leaning heavily towards the exercises, but I’m guessing the pills did help some.
If you haven’t Tried Lucille’s program yet, may I suggest you do. Lucille may wish to comment, but you could substitute your pills with her recommendations. I say this because results may vary with confidence levels.
I’ve also read elsewhere that you’re not likely to grow larger than your mother and my mum had no boobs at all. My breast size doesn’t concern me because I live in a real man’s world. I get my cleavage when I need it from wearing the right bra. Yum!
I have used Lucille’s wild yam and fenugreek and have had mild success but I want more. I will try the BO pills and see what happens. I have to, however, get my body temp up to be successfull so we’ll see. A “ b “ cup would be great. Geri
I’ve been taking Swanson Raw Ovarian Glandular just over 2 yrs now. My boobs are growing, but pretty slow. Getting close to an A cup. But did want to do slow, as need to work 4 more yrs. before retiring. Getting some looks at work, so it’s working. Sometimes want to do faster. Want to be a full B in 4 yrs, then eventually a C.
I’m just starting to cinch my waist, looks like I need to do every day for the next few months.
It is a journey, would like to meet someone doing the same, and ideally a woman that would help.
Jim,
I’m glad someone else is taking Swanson’s Bovine Ovary supplement. I can’t wait to see my results. I was on estradiol for awhile but I had problems with that.
I do have probably AA cup boobs now so if I can get to a B cup, I would be satisfied.
I just hope it doesn’t take 2 years!!!!!
Kisses,
Geri Danielle
Yes, get out there and enjoy your true selves.
