Have you ever felt like it might be too late to begin crossdressing or embark on your male to female transition?
If so, I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to pursue your feminine dreams!
Regardless of your age or circumstances, there’s no better time than NOW to fully embrace your inner woman.
In this blog post, we’ll explore 7 reasons why it’s not too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Let’s get started!
1. There Are More Positive Transgender Role Models Than Ever Before
In today’s world, there are more positive trans role models than ever before.
From Janet Mock, transgender author and advocate, to Danica Roem, the first transgender woman to win a state seat, now is the perfect time join these role models in raising awareness.
2. With Age Comes Wisdom and Experience
While we might all wish to be forever young, age brings with it valuable wisdom and experience.
Your male to female journey can benefit greatly from the insights and knowledge that come with time.
3. 50 is the New 30 and 70 is the New 50
Despite our youth-obsessed society, there are many fabulous female icons in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond who prove that age is only a number.
Candis Cayne, Alexandra Billings, Tracey Norman, and many other trans celebrities prove that beauty and femininity have no expiration date.
4. You Care Less About What Others Think
As you grow older, you tend to care less about other people’s opinions. And that is a beautiful thing!
Spending less time worrying about what people think of you can definitely enhance your MTF journey.
5. These Pioneers Prove it’s Never Too Late to Reinvent Yourself
Countless late bloomers have achieved remarkable success by starting over later in life. Here are examples of transgender women who reinvented themselves after age 50:
- Rachel Levine, who serves as the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, began her transition when she was 54.
- Jennifer Pritzker, notable for being the first transgender billionaire, came out as transgender at age 63.
- Caitlyn Jenner, American media personality and former Olympic gold medal-winning athlete, came out as transgender at the age of 65.
6. It’s Better to Dare Than Have Regrets
When you reflect on your life one day, would you rather look back on a life that was lived to the fullest, even if it ruffled a few feathers, or be filled with regrets?
The choice to embrace your true self is yours to make TODAY.
7. There are More Resources Than Ever Before
Today, there is a wealth of resources available, including transgender and crossdressing support groups, websites, books, and specialized products and procedures.
These resources can go a long way in supporting your feminine transformation or transition.
In conclusion
I hope this post has convinced you that it’s never too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Now is the perfect time to pursue your feminine dreams, whatever they may be.

I love your list!!! And agree with it, that is why at 45 years old, I began HRT two months ago and at the same time also began going back to school to earn my RN degree, because life isn’t just about gender. Not sure how it will all work out, but going to try to live my life on my terms. I wish everyone all the best on their journeys.
I just turned 76 and life is just great. The picture is from when I was 70. I used Lucilles’ breast enhancement and 1 1/2 years ago I started using a vacuum pump. I now have C size beasts and headed for D. I could not be happier with the results although it takes a couple of hours each day. I am not full time, but do dress femme often when I go out. Going to wow them with my cleavage at tonight’s Christmas party!

WOW, YOU LOOK FABULOUS! !
SO glad to see other Septogenarians on this site. YOU inspire me &I’m sure others. We are lucky to be able, at our age ( me :71YO ) to be on this medium, exploring with the young Foxes.
It gets tougher every year to slip into my 100% nylon stockings & walk in my heels. I will as long as I am not an embarrassment to my wife ( pic she took at lunch yesterday ).
Enjoy being You! T.J.
P.s. would love to see more pictures of you. ..& a cretique of mine
good day to you Lucille, I have been living as a Transwoman for the past 2 yrs. totally out to everyone. I go to all my Drs. and even to the VA clinic as Elizabeth. All of my family knows and have some support from them and some well still work in progress. I am hoping this new year I will complete my journey. I am quite happy with self and being older I have the attitude I do not give a rats ass what anyone thinks. I will not roll over and play dead for anyone. I can only say PLEASE continue to help those still trapped by society to set themselves free and live their life.
What a great blog post to read as I am beginning my MtF journey while I’m in my 50’s. I have only recently acknowledged my gender dysphoria and made an appointment with a therapist. I hope to begin HRT within the next few months and as you can see by my profile pic, I have a long road ahead of me. I’m excited about the femininization process and excited to be free!
Hi Love Lucille
I am so happy with your tips. Always good for Feminine. I like so much. For Transgender women age not a problem. If we will make good dress and make up she will come beautiful and young lady. When I go out side I am making good make up and good dress. It is comfortable for me and people are attract me also. Thank you Lucille. Expecting other tips also.

I am older than 50, I currently work as an online Webcam Model, I look blonde bikini thin beautiful — and I started my transition as such with HRT and all legal and medical documents just 5 years ago at older than 50 — so it is never too late !
Wow….you are an inspiration. Great pics and so feminine!
50 is the new 30. I just started dressing completely this year and though I wish I did it earlier in my life, nothing comes from that type of thinking.
And with age (I’m almost 55) comes an attitude of “I don’t care what others think”. I’m just glad I finally started this journey

You go girl !!! Jennifer xx
Very nice Jennifer. I am also trying to get like this. Can you please suggest me to get like this?
I’ve been out for a little over a year now. Very liberating to know who I am and just being myself. I don’t fear things I used to and am Sherry. Lile your blog says, age makes you care less about what others think and just be who you are. I’m a ,ice happier person.
