My best achievements going out en femme have do to with performing as a lady. I have sung with very good choir (about 30 members) that has performed on stage at the Kennedy center in DC and as a part of a backup group to a national pop singer on TV. Except for the members in my choir no one ever thought that I wasn’t anything but a lovely female alto. I knew then that if I wanted to I could live my life as a woman because everything felt so natural.
Definitely going out and enjoying T-gurl events, giving air to that part of me so long kept away. So much fun exploring one’s feminine nature in a supportive environment, growing and learning and enjoying.
I wrote this as an earlier reply to a post but want to share as an original post, hoping more may read it. My feminine name is Miriam Terez Faustiana. Miriam is Mary in various middle eastern languages. Mary is the mother of God-Jesus, Mary Magdalene, also the mother of James and Joses, and the “other Mary” at the Cross and Tomb. Terez is a transliteration of French Saint Therese of Lisieux. I was born October 3rd when that was the feast day of Terez. Faustiana combines St. Faustina and St. Ann (mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary). The fact that the initials of the names are MTF, like male-to-female was a totally unintentional coincidence. 🙂 God bless and guide you all.
mine is starting therapy to get on hormones and starting to transition
I guess the most exciting moment was when a wonderful girlfriend of mine said to me, “Hun, you need to start wearing a bra, those breasts are bouncing.” I guess the difference between wanting to wear a bra and needing to wear a bra was one of the best days of my life..
It has been a year since my surgery. Living a normal life now. Yes, living a normal life as a woman is my greatest achievement in my feminine journey. And it happens everyday!
