Stepping out into the word as your female self can be incredibly empowering. It’s powerful validation for crossdressers and transgender women alike.
In this blog post, I want to dive into this topic and hear about your own experiences. How often do you present yourself as a woman in public?
Do you live as a woman full time? Do you crossdress regularly or on occasion? Or is the answer, sadly, “never”?
Please take my transgender / crossdressing survey and share your thoughts in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille

i like my new looks better than I was years ago
Unfortunately,
I do not go out as a woman, yet. I am still trying to perfect my makeup skills. I am getting better, but still need to work on it. I do however, like to dress up at home, when the opportunity is there. I still need a few essentials, like a wig. I don’t make a lot of money in order to do this. But, I am getting closer to getting one.
I’m full-time, y’all. That means sometimes I’m better-dressed than at other times, and those other times can have a lot of variety. It’s still new enuf that I enjoy dressing and spend a little time at it, even when it’s REALLY casual. I still enjoy the adventure of appearing in public, never knowing how I will be received, although it’s almost always quite positively. Seeing the responses my appearance gets. I try to avoid reading too much into people’s expressions, however; they can be thinking of all sorts of things having nothing to do with me. I still remember the insecurities and fears (usually of ridicule) of my earliest outings, and the growing confidence resulting from subsequent ones. It’s such an ongoing process – I hope it never gets too commonplace.
Lucille, hugs and kisses sweetie. I like to go out ‘femme’ in public as often as time and circumstances allow Which usually ends up two to three times a month. I usually do a little shopping and browse the thrift stores for new (to me) items to add to my wardrobe. I dress to pass and so far no hassles. I have been hit on a few times though LOL!
I go out more than occasionally but not all the time. I go out contra and english country dancing and some friends know. I do this wherever i go. And I am military so I travel a lot. Since i normally live in northern California, I forget that there are still stigmas elsewhere. Truth is I still care but not nearly as much. Maybe it’s age but i really think its a matter of being comfortable in my own skin.
I however am a feminine dresser. I like skirts and dresses. I agree that most women dress unisex for everyday clothing, but for me being conservative means that my skirt and dress are longer.
I absloutely hate being a woman its just that I hate being and acting like a man worse– my ongoing transition is not a celebration but sort of a funeral every day..
I go out in spurts when the family is away, not as much as I like but am comfortable with it. Last few years have moved away from TV friendly places and no go much more main stream and have never had an issue. Feel much better and more confident also, I do travel a lot and have been out dressed in many major cities around the world now and looking to add a few more this year 🙂
Im not going out as a Woman just yet, Im presently using feminization hypnosis which is working wonders, It’s been 18 Months so far, once im fully transitioned I will live full time as a Woman hopefully soon.
My face is feminizing, softer skin, losing body hair, my hair on my head is growing faster, my voice is feminizing, more curvy, men’s jeans don’t fit me properly anymore, bigger breast, more sensitive and emotional,
Im Married but my wife hasn’t notice anything except for my breast
