How to measure your panty size
Step 1: Measure your waist
Using a tape measure, measure the narrowest part of your waist. This will typically be around the level of your belly button.
Step 2: Measure your hips
Keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of your hips and behind.
Step 3: Determine your size
Using these two numbers, find your size by referring to the panty size chart below.

How should your panties fit?

My favorite brands are Etam and Natori from Nordstrom. The style I wear depends on the wardrobe. Jeans get bikinis, or boyshorts. Miniskirts get cheeky panties, in case the wind blows and someone catches a peek. Longer dresses get thongs. I always wear a nice fabric like lace or embroidered mesh. Never know when someone will see them, hopefully often.
I wear cotton briefs for sleep only. Nude is my preference when possible.
My mother was a briefs only woman so that’s what I also wore growing up and still do. My all time favorites were Olga Secret Hugs Briefs but they stopped making them a few years ago. I mostly buy Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours® Lace Nouveau briefs now but will buy other brands if they are decorated nicely. I’ve always purchased my panties from department stores (Penney’s, Macy’s, etc.) whenever they have a sale on them.
Splendies are an amazing source for cute and affordable panties. It’s a mail-order service that send you 3 random panties a month for around $15 USD. Been getting them for almost 2 yrs now and let me tell you, they are some of the cutest, most comfortable panties I’ve ever tried. Out of all the pairs I’ve gotten, maybe two or three I had problems, “staying situated” so to speak. I really can’t say enough about how awesome Splendies are.

I’m more about comfort than style. Cotton low/mid rise briefs in a variety of colors and I’m good.
While I like the boyshort style and the hipster style, my favorite styles are string bikini’s and thongs. Out of my nearly 100 pairs of panties, I only have 2 or 3 pairs of boyshorts. Al the rest are string bikini’s or thongs, and all of them are satin.
There are a couple of Etsy shops that hand make them for men and women. I’ve bought almost every pair I have at either Ania’s poison or Duchessinlace. They are very reasonably priced and they are in the USA. Anyone that loves satin panties as much as I do, should go check out their shops.
