A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.
Pleaser Shoes
While Pleaser Shoes prides itself on being the leader in sexy footwear, they offer a range of styles – from sexy to classic and pinup to goth. Most importantly, they offer women’s shoes up to a size 16.
Update: Our lovely reader Jolene has shared that with Pleasers, depending on the style of shoe, a trans woman or crossdresser may need to add THREE sizes to their male shoe size.
FSJ Shoes
FSJ Shoes is a China-based shoe manufacturer that offers a huge array of styles up to a size 15 US. Best of all, they also offer custom made shoes at affordable prices so you can make any shoe dream come true!

Amazon
Amazon has a surprising large selection of women’s shoes up to size 16, including pumps, flats, sandals, boots, and more. As an added bonus, many items are eligible for Prime delivery and free returns.
Payless
Who doesn’t love a good deal? While Payless only offers women’s shoes up to a size 13, they are a great option for affordable footwear if your feet are on the smaller side.
Ebay
Let’s not forget about good old eBay! Ebay has a huge selection of transgender and crossdressing shoes at some incredible bargains. The best part is that you can search for women’s shoes up to a size 19!

I have small feet I wear between a 8 or 9 depending on the make and style. So I have no problem buying shoes.
A cis friend of mine wears the same size shoe as me. A tip she gave me was Aldo shoes carry larger sizes if purchased on-line. Purchases are ship directly to your house. If the size doesn’t work you can return them for a full refund to a local store. Not sure if other favourite shoe stores offer the same service, but worth asking.
Some stores will also offer shoe stretching at no charge. I found it easier to buy a shoe stretcher of my own. Tired of using my own feet to stretch the shoes at home so I can wear them out in some comfort.
American Eagle brand shoes fit big so usually can get the size I require comfortably. Comfort Plus brand fit pretty good and sometimes only requires a bit of stretching to get the comfort you need. These two brands are more of an economical price. Found at Payless here in North America. Not sure if available overseas.
I wear a size 11W. I’ve found E Bay always has a wide variety in my size. They carry both new and used shoes in every style and size you can want.
I feel extremely lucky that I don’t have a problem finding good women’s shoes, I’m a size 7, and being of short stature (4’11½”), I’m really dainty and feminine looking, so I can hold my own in a sexy pair of high heels. 🙂

I am very lucky. I wear a size 10M and usually buy my shoes from name stores. I have small feet for a man. 🙂 Four inch heels are my limit tho. Any higher and I have difficulty walking like a gal.
I like to use Beverly Heels. They go up to a women’s size 16 in some styles and are very reasonably priced.
I am “only” a size 14 myself but have found their shoes to be very comfortable and sturdy for a large “girl” such as myself.
Thank you Lucille for helping those of us who would be lost without you and other very understanding gg’s :*
Size 10.5 wide that is what I am. So lucky for me I just got under the wire. lol Only most shoe stores carry just two different sizes for women
close to me 10 or 11 very few if any carry 10.5 wide. I bought to 11 high
heel shoes. Both nice dress shoes, but to my surprise all those straps on them make it very difficult to get your toes in if your foot is wide.
So I am going with a low heel shoe without six straps tied to them.
My shoe of choice. The Mary Jane.

Honey, you will make any shoes look great with your beauty.
I always have the size problem with my shoes, because I’m 13 (women size). Where I live you can go several cities around and you’d be lucky if you find a size 10 🙁
So I have to buy them online or by catalog. There’s a shop here in my town that uses the Pleaser catalog, which have many sexy shoes up to 14 and sometimes 15 size. The only problem is that they’re too sexy for work.
The ones in my photo are that brand.
I’ll check these sites to see what I find, thanks for the list.
P.D. I don’t trust those conversion tables and calculator, in my experience they often mislead. The men shoes I use for work are mens size 13, and the charts said that was going to need women size 15. Turns out they were too big, so I tried 14, and they were too big also, so I tried 13, and those were the ones. Nothing beats trying the shoes directly.
