Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

I love the classic style, the polished and professional look. In the evening I am most comfortable in my favorite nightgown. I believe lingerie is the most feminine style. Experimenting with different styles is what being a women is all about and allows us to age gracefully;) Thank You Lucille and Best Wishes
Lucille,
I’m definitely classic. being a senior, classic is more me, and I love the look. However if I could, I probably would love either fashionista or bombshell. Thanks for all you do for us TGs.
Thank you so much for what you do for all of us. Your tips and emails are so true and it let’s me be the woman I hope to be. My style is more classic but I’ll dress in anything that looks feminine and sexy:)
I voted for bombshell but I was a bit indecisive between that and ‘other’. I think I just wish I was a real bombshell hehe!
Thanks Lucille !
this is what I look like I have short hair now the short haired one is my recent pic
I also like the classic style and I have grown by going more places en femme, to dress down as women do Being comfortable is such a lovely choice for women today. Pantyhose today is not used by more and more just as girdles went out years ago. Feeling comfortable gives me the poise and strentch that my femme and boy side both enjoy. I feel femme constantly. As you suggested clear nailposish and lip gloss are a must for me. I get pedicures and have my toes done in clear also. I also paint them red when I go to more dress up places or for just hanging out, unually in my wig.
We are all so lucky to know what it feels like to be genderqueer. Getting both sies together took a long time but now I know dressing does make a difference and I love being identified as femme in stores and dinning out.

I’m having trouble getting my pics up.
cool this is my look
I think that many men who long to be women have this idea that they will cross from being the male they are to become Ashley Olsen (to pick a person pictured in your pole), whereas in fact they come out looking considerably more like Nora Batty (picture). Change is not necessarily all that momentous. Often the same things that made you unhappy as a guy will make you a miserable girl. After all, if you were an alien and you came down here to Earth, you’d have a hard time telling men and women apart.
