Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

Thank you for all the wonderful tips & suggestions!!
I guess I am a bit of classic and Bohemian with a bit of retro once in a while. I guess that makes me ecclectic. I usually try to be the girl next door. My goal is to blend into a group of women. I prefer longer skirts usually to the knee or below. I also enjoy a little renaissance like garb and have began to like corsets quite a lot. All my everyday clothing is women’s clothing. I don’t purchase men’s clothing anymore.
Cool survey Lucille and interesting results! I guess I never thought of my look as “bombshell”.
I have so many faces to my personality now being a girl that it depends if it is summer, winter, what mood i am and how many hormones i have had.
I have 40 years of dressing i missed in my life so I am finding fun out of all kinds of outfits.
Thanks Lucile for existing, you are not the only GREAT help I have had in my feminization but you were one of the big ones.

Hi Lucille I think my style changes with my mood (calm to totaly out of control ) Thanks for everything.
I don’t have much of a wardrobe, but what I have is very basic items.
I was born in 1950, so I grew up with women wearing dresses a lot of the time. That is my favorite thing to wear, with seperate tops & skirts running a close second. I very rarely go out dressed enfemme.
I too identify with classic style clothing. I can blend into a group of women and to all appearances I am who I appear to be-a 50ish woman even though I am older than that-we are just as secretive as all other women you know.
