Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I have been dressing as a girl or woman since I was very young mostly in secret until about September of 2008. I went to Las Vegas for a vacation and a Makeover. That makeover changed my life and Bobbie was born. That trip gave me the confidence to become the female version of myself that has been waiting too long to come out. Once I came out into public amoung my online friends, I gained the confidence to explore areas that have been too scary to visit.
Three years later and I have progressed to going out dressed EnFem when ever I am not at work. I love going to church in mu “Sunday Best” and the to Sunday Brunch. I go shopping. For groceries, to movies, and even to the dentist En Fem as Bobbie. I feel very comfortable and I have made quit a few friends and I have not had a single bad encounter while dressed and presenting as a woman.
I’m Jennifer traveling by air, at TG Conventions, dining, shopping, night clubbing etc.
I would like there to be more knowledge on voice, I will not go out in Public because of voice, I have not taken any Pills or anthting to alter my voice I have however downloaded some things that are to help with voice but I am having trouble with this, anybody can dress sexy and fit in via looks but the voice is my hang up. Thanks.
Julie,
I could not agree more. I was in the hospital getting an orchiectomy and there was another girl getting one too. She had done nothing with her voice, and didn’t intend to either. While the nurse had no problem with using “she” with me, she did slip up with the other girl. When the other girl left, I told the nurse that the problem she was having was the voice. It is very hard to say “she” when the person has a very masculine voice.

Everywhere and all the time…when not at work. I’ve lost a few people as “friends” and am having a trying time with some family members, but!! I’m staying strong. As soon as I get home from work, I’m Alli! Shopping, dentist, doctor, I’m a girl all the time.

i have always wanted to be a woman sadly i had a stroke. but that does,nt stop me enjoying my self.i would only bring attention to myself now. by for now sweetheart, jenn.
don’t slow down to much and keep up the work if you can.
I am full tome and have been for 29 months.
I did a female make-over in Vegas, and I wish I could have returned home as a “Girl”. My girl friend enjoys me dressing up but I never go out side the house. I like to see what reactions I get from bank tellers and store clerks when I leave a small amount of lacey chemise showing under my shirt. I take herbal breast enhancing pills, but so far nothing. I really would like a friend of similar interests. Mitzy
I would like to be friends with you as i don’t many my self either. I use Noogleberry myself. I have gone from 36NB to 36C
Well Mitsy, your hardly alone girlfriend. All T-men combined are about one out of a 100 men so even if you live in a small town you’ve probably got company. Also more than 90% of the T-men are heterosexual crossdressers for which there is a national organization with local chapters at http://tri-ess.org/ It’s nice to go to a safe meeting place like a home or hotel with a changing room if needed to meet good people like you and some of their wives and girlfriends. All types and all people are also welcome at http://www.ifge.org/ Good luck and best wishes Mitsy.
