Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

Seeing the results of this poll, for a split second, made me think ‘WOW”. I instantly was taken back to when I was a young boy and thinking I was the only one in the world like me. LOL A feeling I haven’t thought of in a long time. I’m one of the lucky girls!! I’m not bragging just stating how I feel. Lucky and blessed. Although it took me a very long time to get where I am today, I’m 51. I now go just about anywhere I want to. Doesn’t mean I’m 100% comfortable when I enter new places but I just try to remain claim and smile and project confidence. It’s a lot easier with close friends that have your back.
I used to go dressed feminine going to bars.and to guys homes. Since the wife does not approve, I dress by myself
I go where ever I want as a woman am waiting for legal name change will be Roberta after that all the time LOL Roberta
I only wear pantyhose and women shoes under my jeans, and at home I dress all the way.
I go wherever I want to. Occasionally I do get the odd looks or stare, and sometimes people, usually women, will start a conversation with me…….
I would love to present as a woman full time, but it is not practical. My wife wouldn’t allow it. So, I do the next best thing and have learned to adapt to my situation. I underdress daily, only wear women’s jeans and have some women’s blouses and sweaters that are somewhat androgynous. I found a hair stylist a few years back and slowly began wearing women’s clothes when I get my hair cut. It has now gotten to the point where I dress totally as a women when I get my monthly trim. She is very comfortable and so am I. Finally, when I shop I always wear women’s clothing. About 50% of the time I dress totally as a woman [I have my favorite stores where the women are more than happy to see me come in and go out of their way to help me] the rest of the time my choice of clothing is less noticeable and I wear sweaters, blouses, shirts and jeans or capris. I’m retired, in my 60’s and quite frankly don’t really care anymore what people may think. My wife’s concerns about “safety” and being “embarrassed” keep me from taking things further. What I have found is the more confident I am when out dressed, the less attention anyone really plays.
