Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I have been going out for about 13 years. Once you start it is hard to not get out. I go everywhere I want to, shopping, dining, movies, Dr. and Dentist appointments. I am a cross dresser and not someone who has transitioned. My wife is supportive and often goes with me.

I like to go out in public when travelling out of my home state. The first time was when I was able to coordinate a business trip with the Diva Las Vegas “convention”. It was INCREDIBLE!! The emotions and feelings involved in going out in public were beyond anything I could imagine. Going out with others is the best.
I’m too timid to go out en femme, the only time I did it was a Halloween party, I loved it, but… Yeah still timid.
H’I Petra here i did that 8 years a go when i was in job training pro. I t was on the advice of my job coach. She help me pick out the DRESS & SHOES. so if i can do it you can to.Petra.
Okies so I dressed alone in hotel rooms for like so many years. Wife and family etc at home. Then last year I went out for the first time dressed and now if I go away I will try to go out dressed whenever I can. Usually in the UK the gay areas of a town are quite tolerant and safe. I think most people would be fine but you do get the ‘odd potato’ who can’t process a person being different. Weird really when I spend ages trying to look good and most guys especially probably just pull some jeans on? Crazee world! lol x
I’ve been full time now for 4 years. I’m having surgery later this year.
Going out everyday I take for granted now. It’s just life now. As they say “Living the dream” never been so happy x x x
I go just about anywhere that I would go in guy-mode, but I do not dress more than 2-3 days a week, sometimes less.
Would love going out more but would like to go with other girls. Wish other girls would get with me to go o u t more. I do pass and enjoy going to clubs and dinner.
Me too.
I thought I would never go out. But one day about 9 years ago, I got brave and went for a ride in my car, stopped to gas the car and drove home. That was the start, since then I go out en femme shopping, dining, movies, concerts, plays, and even bowling. After you once go out you will never turn back and wonder what took you so long.
