Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I live full time as female , but I will admit the first times going out were a bit scary because my voice will always give me away but I soon learned that no one actually cares , I even have a discount card for my favorite lingerie store because the assistant said you are always in here , Even joined a dating club and have a boyfriend now
Life is short try to avoid regrets
“Emma”…”You look fantastic”…”I am so happy that you have a Boyfriend” !!!
I’m straight, so even if when i die inside to present myself as a girl i don’t do it because it’s gonna be nearly impossible to convince people i’m not gay.
You are absolutely beautiful, and 100% correct. That seems to be the first go to, “you Crossdress so you must be gay”. Whaaaa?
When I took basic psychology it was high number world wide of straight me who crossdress the us is the only place where the gay population crossdresses more I don’t remover the exact numbers but may have changed some you can’t let others dictate you
Hi, I finally had the nerve to go out in public this weekend dressed en femme. I did a walk sround the streets for a couple of blocks on the evening to test it out. I did bump into some other walkers and apart from one guy who probably realised it was all very pleasant. He wasn’t a problem either. Today I decided to go shopping in the morning and had a lovely day walking around the city and then buying a shoulder bag and purse. I could have spent a lot more but resisted. I’m sure the shop assistant realised by my voice and hands but she WA pleasant. Also when I was wandering around I suspect only a few people noticed so I was able to “pass” without much of a concern. Most people didn’t give me a second look so all my fears of being humiliated didn’t arise. Driving was also interesting in I was wearing a pencil skirt so my movement was restricted. I chose the pencil skirt to help me slow down walking, which it did. Felt great. Thanks for the encouragement.
i like to wear tight pants because i have a bubble butt, it looks so good and i feel quite sexy walking around in quiet park. i do pass for a woman and it feels really hot
Dear Lucille,
Now that I live in a condominium, and there is an exit in the basement level, I still have this awful fear that I will be recognized by someone I know. But ( like in the movie “Risky Business” you got to say what the heck. It isn’t like my friends and (some of my family) doesn’t know that I am Transgendered. About the Halloween costumes, I got to an meeting (that is not GLBTQ) but we have a halloween party, a few years ago I went dressed, those folks couldn’t believe how good I looked. Yeah!! I made sure to cross my legs like a lady since I was wearing fishnet pantyhose (I was wearing panties as well) Well Lucille That’s my story & I’m sticking to it.
I am *so blessed* to be living as the woman I am, so blessed…
…I blurred into womanhood about five years ago now after some years of gradually and gently moving through androgyny.
I am testing the waters a little here and there with little things, like wearing small forms and bra while presenting male. As hormones take effect and my features gradually feminize, I will be transitioning socially to full-time, but just a little at a time.
Being in the military and currently stationed outside the continental US, I have few options for outings or parties where “drag” would be acceptable.
I try to dress dayly mostly at home I have a lesbian roomie she likes it alot I live in sacto so it is hot here in summer wear panties bra daily girl shorts socks tops but no car wish I could wear dress I love being a girl
