I would love wearing the classic. I would feel more comfortable being Tahlyia than Calvin.
I’m not sure really? I find as time goes on, I’m more of a “comfortable” feminine type. The silky, satiny, plunging topy, show off curves has it’s place for sure! I’m just in super-soft cotton 90% of the time and it’s easy+fast to take them off when it’s time to put on normal outside clothes {not the undies or nylons if I have them on! They can stay! :)}. Anyway, that’s my take on what makes me feel ladylike.
I prefer not to be tied down to one style. After all my mood changes frequently so I like to dress to match. The only style I really don’t use is the pinup.Grew up with the bullet bras and hated them then as I do now. In the mean time always have fun in lingerie! Love ya, Aleisha
I love wearing very silky charmeuse satin
and satin nylon tricot and lace trim Classic lingerie:
satin nightie with panties,
satin robes.
full and half slips,
bras,
garter belts,
and very silky sheer 10 – 15 denier nylon stockings, mostly in black.
I especially adore the vintage
1950 – 1960’s era lingerie
in these styles.

I agree with Dorothy Thomas. Don’t over think it. Just be normal, like big deal, you’re going to buy panties, so what, just do it. At the end of the day all the salespeople care about is making money. There are so many different ways you can do this. For example, present yourself nicely not like a hooker as some trans girls do, go in and buy what you need. Or for those who may not be at that stage in terms of confidence, go in be nice polite, non threatening like you’re some kind of freak, ask the sales assistant for help, tell them you’re looking to buy something for your wife, girlfriend etc. Another approach is to seek out a personal shopping assistant at a large department store. Many have these. You can contact them and explain your situation. Be open about telling them your trans and that you feel uncomfortable about buying and trying on things in the women’s change rooms and that you’d like something a little more private. Many of the larger department stores have a dedicated area for personal shopping assistants. The rooms are large, private, just a single client at a time, sometimes if you spend lots of money they even shower you with chocolates and champagne to make you feel special. I’ve had some awesome experiences with personal shopping assistants. I have a favourite fashion designer in one store, when I purchased some items they even drew love hearts on my wrapping paper. It was lovely. They treat you way nicer than regular shoppers because they’re offering personal service. You don’t have to pay for this, just don’t walk out with a single pair of $5 panties. Make it worth their while and spend the time to present yourself in the best possible way and get to know the personal shopping assistants. Regarding what other people may think about you, seriously, who cares. Just remember to be respectful. It doesn’t matter in life whether you are trans, a gold fish, a rabbit or a regular everyday person, the fact is, people are always going to judge one another.
