When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I don’t mind being called a transformer,I really like being called a lady or women.I dress up in a skirt or lag ens about 100% of the time with hells or tall saddles.I love to go shopping looking pretty,I get comments from the lades like you look nice or you look beautiful sweaty.I am happy with my self,I’am single do what I want,I have been dressing as a women for about a year and a have steady,I couldn’t be happy-er And thanks goes to you Lucille with love
I have always referred to myself as a crossdresser. I have no desire to transition, and have found that CD seems to be accepted more easily than transvestite by those friends I have come out to. It’s a less “clinical” term and seems to present as less “threatening”.
I consider myself Intersexed. I am both male and female simultaneously. I spend a lot of time in male mode and slip in some female items of clothing every day. I always have felt like both genders. It is the only way I feel right. My natural hormones are also reflective of that. It is just who I am.
My situation is that I have 2 separate Gender Identities.
I am happy to be male & happy to be female.
These 2 identities make me who I am.
I don’t understand .but must trust my God.
I find the concept of Labels can be devisive if not approached in a loving and accepting way.
If the Label describes someone exactly then it can be an instant connection with where that person is.
None of the Labels describe my situation adequately so I choose to say that “Amanda” is my female side, and “Peter” is my male side.
It all depends on the individuals experience with Labels.
Thank you Lucille for providing a forum for ideas & experiences.
Love Amanda x
Hi there.I am happy that my family understand who I am as a transgender female. Although I work as a male, every opportunity I live as a female, or transgender female. I now have the confidence to go to the beech wearing my bikini.I just love it. Going for walks, or shopping, restaurants, is always so good to be dressed up fem. Thanks for your support Lucille.xx
I identify as a trans woman as female this label I own and gladly except I have always been and will always be female
I deeply appreciate this site for allowing me and others like me and opportunity to be heard And express ourselves.
I prefer to call me Cross Dresser as I have large breasts and I wear 42″ D cup bra always to prevent my big breasts swinging but inwardly I am a male. I wear sometimes seethrough dresses and my bra and breasts are clearly visible everybody as it is very big. I am not hiding my breasts as I cannot hide it because of its sizes. I don’t care even if people stare at me. But ladies use to apreciate me because the good shape of my breasts.

I think most of you have expressed feeling that I concur with. I remember I got questions about to which group I belonged. I had no idea there were some many groups that existed. Who created them? It is almost like religious sects. Unfortunately the world we live in is one where people are put in groups after which the differences are magnified. Then there is fear of other groups leading to hostility to groups. I guess if we have enough self confidence we are not bothered by it and even bridge the gaps. Of those there are not many.
