Nothing will destroy your image faster than saggy bra cups or too-tight panties creating a “muffin top.” That’s why it’s so important to choose lingerie that fits properly.
Here are some tips to ensure that you have the right fit:
- Your bra and panties should fit snug, but should never dig into your skin. (That’s how you get ugly bulges.)
- Be sure to check your bra cups – they should fit smoothly over your breasts or breast forms.

As a mature girl (55), I prefer more “traditional” shapewear like girdles and corselettes. I own black and white longline bra and girdle sets, and recently bought two white zip-front corselettes, getting one dyed pink and the other red. For me, there’s nothing like the feel of three garters on each leg holding my stockings. “Traditional” doesn’t have to mean un-sexy!

Hi Sheila! That’s a great question. It’s not possible for me to take custom photos with TG models for each post (due to the cost of the clothes, photo studio, photographer, models, etc.) so I use existing photos to demonstrate the concepts I am describing. Unfortunately, it’s not a perfect solution. That’s why I encourage girls to upload their photos in the comments section.

I just love the way corsets pull me in and give me curves but I also adore garter belts and nylons too, but they don’t look all that great on me. I have a sheer babydoll and a matching wrap jacket and they feel so sexy.
I have about 50 bras and 100 panties, a few slip and half slips. I haven’t bought any garters yet, but have some pretty pantyhose.
